Hotel in zona Friedrichstraße, Berlino

La posizione è ottima, proprio nel mezzo del Checkpoint Charlie e del Terrain of Terror. Anche i trasporti sono relativamente convenienti. È molto comodo giocare e vivere qui a Berlino. Di fronte all'hotel c'è una profumeria locale di Berlino e un piccolo negozio d'arte, il che è molto interessante. Il servizio è comodo e mediocre e sembra di gran lunga inferiore al Circus Hotel dove ho soggiornato il giorno prima.

Lo consiglio perché è una buona posizione e una buona struttura per il prezzo :) È vicino a un supermercato e alla metropolitana, ed è ben insonorizzato, quindi posso dormire bene! Verrò di nuovo la prossima volta!

Overall I like this hotel. However the service by 1 rude receptionist should be improved. check in experience was ruined by lady receptionist. Service at reception The full payment including city taxes have been paid via my credit card upon booking. The payments paid and breakdown including city taxes are stated very clearly on the booking voucher. However despite this, I was asked to pay a deposit of amount close to Euro 600 which was the full amount of my stay that was paid using my credit card. Upon asking, I asked the trainee/Lena why I have to pay so much again when I had paid the full amount via credit card. Lena then checked with the another lady receptionist on the deposit that should be secured. However, this lady receptionist informed us to pay a deposit of euro 50 which I have no issue. However, she rudely informed me that I have to pay city tax. I told her that it has been paid and I showed her the booking voucher which clearly shows that city taxes have been paid. But she informed rudely that the amount was charged in other currency, not Euro. Seriously, when I heard this, I was shocked with the “intelligence” of this lady receptionist. She needs to be educated on what is “foreign currency equivalent” and to have some common sense. I disputed this and insisted that i had paid the full amount including city taxes, which was stated very clearly on the booking voucher. Lena agreed with me and reiterated to this lady receptionist that the booking voucher indeed stated that all payments including city taxes have been paid. Thereafter, the lady receptionist left rudely without any apologies. The receptionists should be trained and their service should be improved. Firstly, they should have checked that I have fully paid and should not secure a a deposit of almost euro 600. Only when I asked, they rechecked, but no apologies. Secondly, even after they rechecked, they did not check clearly that city taxes have been paid and insisted me to pay city taxes. No apologies either when they found out. The service from the lady receptionist (shorter girl with curly hair) was so rude and no apologies even though she was wrong in the first place. I highlighted this issue and feedback to the shiftleader, Andreas Levi and made known to him about the receptionists. He immediately went to check and confirmed that all payments including city taxes have been paid earlier via credit card. Thanks Andreas Levi for checking and making our stay better. Bed Not sure why some beds have comforters/topper while some beds without. The beds with comforters are so comfy! Our bed without comforters. Breakfast For Europe’s standard, I think the breakfast in this hotel is considered good. With few hot food such as overcooked bacon, overcooked sausage, baked bean, and eggs. The omelette is nice (thanks to the chef!) Some selections of bread, lots of choices of good quality teas. Few selections of juices. Coffee machine. Fresh honey comb. Complementary water It is odd that complimentary water is only provided to the guests for the first night despite I stay 3 nights. This is the first time I experience this in Europe. Perhaps guest should make different booking for each night. Proximity to trains and attractions Close proximity to train stations and some main attractions. Summary Overall service was good (except for 1 rude lady receptionist). I will still recommend this hotel. Take the breakfast.

Il cestino della spazzatura non è stato svuotato al momento del check-in e ci è sembrato strano. Tuttavia, la posizione è perfetta in quanto è vicino a una delle attrazioni turistiche, il personale è estremamente cordiale e ospitale e la colazione è ottima. Sono stati anche così gentili da farci lasciare i bagagli per circa altre 10 ore dopo il check-out.

The location and physical aspects of the hotel were good. However, the service, especially from the night manager, was HORRIBLE. We booked 3 twin rooms. Note that the price is different between twin and double rooms. We arrived late at night due to flight delays and were very tired. During check in we were told that there were no more twin rooms because the hotel was full. What's the point of paying more for twin rooms if the hotel does not reserve them for us? When we asked for an extra bed to be added, we were told that there isn't enough space for it. This is not true as we had already been inside the rooms and they were big with lots of space. After much haggling and after the night manager put on a show by going in to the hotel's office for a few minutes, he came back to say that he can change one of the rooms and put in an extra bed. We were still not satisfied and so we insisted that the hotel can do something to rectify the matter. After doing another round of putting on a show, the night manager came back and said that he can now add and extra bed to another room and would also give us a 50% discount for 2 of the rooms. In addition, he said that we could take the 2 bottles of mineral bottles (these are chargeable) for free. The fridges in the rooms have sensors to detect if the drinks there are taken. The next day we checked with the reception to make sure that we would not be charged. The lady who assisted us checked and said that there was a note saying that we would not be charged. When I got my credit card statement, I found a charge for the 2 bottles of mineral water. 16 euros. Ridiculous. Throughout this ordeal, I must say that the night manager's attitude and manner were really bad. For example, I don't remember seeing him smile at all even when he first came to talk to us about the rooms. Our holiday was marred by this. Hilton is a high class brand of hotels but the service leaves a very bitter taste in our mouths.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Friendly helpful staff. Fantastic new gym as well. Would stay again.

Molto vicino alla stazione della metropolitana. A pochi metri di distanza puoi trovare un supermercato per snack o bevande. L'Hotel è molto pulito e la camera è progettata in stile moderno e confortevole. La colazione viene offerta a buffet.

E'stata la seconda volta che si è soggiornato all'hotel. L'ultima volta che si è iniziata l'epidemia di 20 anni, ricordo di aver visto la notizia di Wuhan all'hotel.La manutenzione dell'hotel è davvero buona!L'hotel non è diventato completamente vecchio da quattro o cinque anni! Ci sono anche molte metro intorno a sé. Si consiglia di scaricare BVGapp per comprare biglietti di giorno 24h ～ La colazione è quasi ogni giorno, ma i pasticci di mais e le caramelle sono deliziose come sempre 😋 questa volta sono stati alloggiati in hotel per cinque notti. Berlino è anche molto adatto per il cammino della città particolarmente buono ～～ Consiglia fortemente ～～ al fiume vicino al ponte che viene raccomandato dalla stazione ferroviaria principale di Lin. È molto bello scattare super 🥰

Can never go wrong at The Marriot! From start to finish, service was top notch. Concierge went above and beyond to make reservations, provide in depth knowledge of sightseeing, Travels etc superbly talented men at the concierge. Lounge was as extraordinary as the rest. Canapés were almost a full dinner service with appropriate wines and draft beer. Tte suite was spacious . Only issue was my bed, think it was a little to soft for me. Son and his cousins enjoyed the pool and gym facilities. And room service was yummy! They saw to all our questions and provided necessary amenities such as water bottles on a daily bfast. Love this hotel! Luxury and convenient- best combination

Nel complesso, un ottimo ostello. Vicino ad un paio di locali molto famosi di Berlino e ad una stazione della metropolitana che ti porterà in città in 15-20 minuti. Inoltre, un grande vantaggio è che la cucina è aperta tutta la notte. L'unica cosa che mancava all'ostello era un'a**osfera sociale. Tutti i gruppi sono rimasti per conto proprio. L'ostello probabilmente potrebbe utilizzare alcune attività per far socializzare un po' le persone. Nel complesso, soggiorno molto buono, ma non eccezionale.
