Purtroppo la piscina era chiusa e la sauna doveva essere registrata e poteva essere utilizzata solo una volta per 1 ora. Le ore di apertura della sauna dalle 14:00 alle 20:00 nei fine settimana sono assolutamente inaccettabili per un hotel di classe di lusso. Nel momento della prenotazione non abbiamo ricevuto alcuna informazione sul fatto che i tempi del Spa sono così regolamentati e che il pool è completamente chiuso. Su richiesta della reception abbiamo ricevuto informazioni che il pool è chiuso a causa di misure di risparmio energetico e che, inoltre, il personale non ha ancora ricevuto informazioni. Riteniamo che, se una parte significativa dei servizi non può essere fornita, i prezzi per il pernottamento debbano essere adeguati in modo adeguato, e purtroppo non abbiamo potuto godere del nostro soggiorno come avevamo previsto!

Questo hotel è assolutamente meraviglioso. La colazione è fantastica e offre buone opzioni vegetariane, con personale molto attento. Il bar non è economico, tuttavia la qualità è eccellente. L'accoglienza è visivamente di grande impatto e il personale è eccezionale. La palestra è attualmente in fase di riparazione, il che è un peccato, tuttavia hanno messo a disposizione soluzioni alternative per gli ospiti disperati. Sfortunatamente questa è una delle poche zone di Berlino che non ha un facile accesso a deliziosi piatti da asporto a tarda notte, tuttavia è perfetta per i siti turistici.

We just spent 5 nights at the Regent. We booked their least expensive room and it was still fabulous. This is one of those hotels that does everything right. The hotel lobby and the rooms are elegant and yet not stuffy. The staff is totally friendly to everyone - from the business people in the breakfast rooms right on over to us traveler types in our polar fleece and REI travel pants:) Breakfast is excellent. The beds are comfortable, the sheets high quality. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are incredible. Full tub, large shower, big mirrors, good lighting. The toiletries are L’Occitane. There’s a high-end coffee maker and pods. The locations is perfect. We did a ton of walking - and in walking, I saw many of the other Berlin hotels I had considered in my research. None of the other locations is this perfect - especially for a first-time tourist to Berlin. We could walk to Museum Island in under 10 minutes. 10 minutes to the Brandenburg Gate. 10 minutes to the Checkpoint Charlie area. I cannot compliment the Regent enough. It is one of those rare hotels that just did it all right for us.

TLDR: The Hotel Luc met minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, but its management failed to address a simple incident, ultimately impacting a very meaningful trip, during which I got engaged. When planning my recent trip to Berlin, I debated between Hotel Luc and the Westin, ultimately choosing the former. Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Luc has left me regretting this decision. A luxury boutique hotel should excel in room decor, cleanliness, accessible amenities, and courteous staff. However, what truly sets a luxury hotel apart is its management's ability to provide tailored service to guests in handling incidents or requests. So what happened? I got engaged on this trip and wanted to capture the moment in photos around Berlin. Excitedly putting on my favorite cotton dress shirt, I used the hotel iron on the cotton setting. Shockingly, the iron burned huge hole in my shirt, turning the fabric into plastic that stuck to the iron. Immediately, I reported the incident to the front desk, who directed me to email the manager. The manager’s response: “I am very sorry that your shirt apparently could not withstand the heat of the iron and was irreparably damaged. However, I regret to inform you that we are unable to offer you a refund/ reimbur*****t for this. The use of irons in the room is at your own risk and we are not liable in this case. As it concerns the rear collar area, I hope that you will receive goodwill from the manufacturer by explaining the situation and explicitly pointing out that you have only selected the lowest ironing heat - this may change the liability towards the manufacturer.” In summary, the hotel manager: - Refuses to admit the iron was faulty - Denied any liability - Shifted blame to the clothing manufacturer (Bonobos) - Suggests that I should lie to the clothing manufacturer about the iron setting Upon returning to the US, I filed a complaint with Marriott, which accidentally directed my complaint to the wrong hotel (Moxy). Despite the error, Moxy, an international Marriott brand, promptly offered reimbur*****t, no questions asked. When I corrected the mistake and told them it was the Hotel Luc that was liable, the Hotel Luc manager continued to deny responsibility. A few takeaways from this: - Stay at a larger international brand when traveling abroad for better support - The Hotel Luc failed to address common incident, refusing accountability, while an international brand quickly addressed the issue While the Hotel Luc met my minimum expectations of a luxury hotel, its management’s failure to address a simple request ultimately impacted a very meaningful trip.

Pessima impressione già dal primo momento all’ingresso:2 poltrone consumate in una hall molto grande ma buia e poco illuminata l’albergo è in completo rifacimento e almeno due piani sono completamente chiusi per il rinnovo delle camere ma anche nei rimanenti piani molte camere sono in ristrutturazione:primo grande problema a noi è capitata una bella camera completamente rinnovata e moderna,a mia sorella una di vecchio tipo che dimostra tutti i suoi anni.Sarebbe serio che l’hotel facesse in fase di vendita una differenza di prezzo tra i due tipi di room ben diverse.per arrivare alla nostra è stato necessario salire al quinto piano fare un lunghissimo corridoio che porta a un piccolo ascensore di servizio che bisogna prendere per scendere al terzo piano e arrivare finalmente alla camera. Prima colazione molto deludente:la sala del breakfast è stretta e lunga con adiacente la zona dove sta il cuoco che prepara uova e omelette e di conseguenza i cattivi odori di fritto e cucina che impestano la sala.il buffet poco vario e di non eccellente qualità con croissant stopposi e pane poco fresco .Una palestra minuscola e indegna di un grande albergo e,colmo dei colmi se vuoi utilizzare la sauna devi pagare a parte 8 euro!Unica nota positiva che alla mia valutazione non fa mettere il minimo la gentilezza disponibilità e professionalità della responsabile del desk Alicia che con la sua attitudine veramente al top riesce a coprire le tante mancanze di un albergo che a mio parere deve fare molto per recuperare la sua fama.

In summary: Superb breakfast, good rooms, pretty good location (but there are better in Berlin), a few details could be improved. Good value for money. Accor has a huge range of hotels in Berlin, this is for them a midrange offering. The rooms are of reasonable size, I had a huge bathroom, minibar and room safe. Very clean. Bed surprisingly comfortable. Free wifi good enough for video streaming (there's also 'premium wifi' you can pay for). TV and heating controls fussy. Shower gel holder in the bathroom remained empty throughout my four day stay though there was liquid soap by the sink. Reading lights in room below average. Reception friendly, a little chaotic. The hotel restaurant is open in the evenings, snacks and drinks available after hours. Locked luggage storage next to reception. Breakfast is really nice - great coffee and fruit juice, all the rest as you would expect including some cold fish dishes. One level below an 'omelette bar' status but still pretty good for this price level of hotel. Location in Berlin Mitte is pretty good - they're two U-Bahn stations and several bus stops within a few minutes' walk, even though some of the bus schedules are a bit disappointing. Nikolaiviertel is 5 minutes walk away and if you increase your walking time to 15 minutes you can get to Alexanderplatz and Museuminsel easily enough. There are better location hotels in Mitte but it's quite OK really. Good value for money; rates vary quite a bit by day of the week (so if your travel days are flexible play around with your stay dates). I generally stay either more downmarket or more upmarket than this but it's interesting to see how a midrange hotel works - quite OK, though as often in this category of hotel proactive detail management doesn't get priority. I would recommend.

Uno dei migliori hotel del nostro viaggio in Europa. L'hotel si trova convenientemente al di fuori della stazione S/U, Berlino Friedrichstrasse. Ci sono due entrambi gli ingressi per l'hotel e entrambi sembrano molto grandi, il lobby è ben decorato e hanno anche preparato tè e un snack leggero (cake/cookies) per gli ospiti mentre noi raffreddiamo al lobby. L'ispezione è stata piacevole e il personale dell'hotel è stato molto gentile e allegro, davvero rendere il nostro giorno. Abbiamo ricevuto una stanza al livello 4 con una vista molto bella sulla città, la stanza è pulita, spaziosa e è davvero contemporanea e moderna, con uno specchio enorme per le vostre tiri quotidiane OOTD. Il colazione era davvero grande, la diffusione era enorme e offre molte scelte per soddisfare le diverse esigenze. Il personale ha prestato attenzione a pulire le piastre e ha aiutato. In generale, è stato un soggiorno perfetto e sicuramente visiteremo di nuovo NH Berlino!

La camera d'albergo era confortevole. Abbiamo goduto di un buon grado di privacy. La mia unica lamentela è che durante il nostro viaggio, sulla mia carta di credito sono stati addebitati € 194 dall'hotel, nonostante avessi già pagato il prezzo intero per la camera. Naturalmente, l'hotel lo ha rimborsato immediatamente. Questo però non mi ha compensato del fatto che ho dovuto aspettare 3 giorni per ricevere i soldi sul mio conto. A quel punto avevo solo 50€ in contanti e 31£ sul mio conto in banca. Questo mi ha fatto sentire insicuro, dato che normalmente ho abbastanza soldi nel caso qualcosa vada storto. Non credo che la mia carta avrebbe dovuto essere addebitata in primo luogo e il membro del personale che ha effettuato l'addebito accidentale con la carta dovrebbe prestare maggiore attenzione alle informazioni finanziarie degli ospiti.

This is a modern functional hotel (which we booked via BA holidays) apparently popular for conferences, so you get the picture. Four of us went for a city break. The hotel is well situated within easy walking distance of Gendarmenmarkt. Spittelmart U-bahn is 2 minutes away. Easy and welcoming check-in. Our rooms were comfortable and spacious. The bathroom had an excellent walk-in shower although the wash basin had the depth of a birdbath. What was surprising was the amount of wasted space in the bedroom with a great void between the bed and the door which could have been used for some proper drawers and shelves. As it was, there was only 1 drawer and 3 shelves, one of which was useful only if you were 2 metres tall (see photo). The wardrobe, if you could call it that, was an open hanging space, but it was situated at right angles to a padded seat (see photo) making accessibility difficult and there was only one chair in the room. Tea-making facilities were available but instant coffee only and powdered milk. We used to take a small jug of milk from breakfast and keep it in the fridge. There was a very good and comprehensive breakfast with just about everything one could want. As a morning tea drinker I cannot comment on the coffee which came from a machine, but there was an excellent selection of leaf teas. The hot food was OK, but nothing cooked to order so that eggs were either warm scrambled or hard boiled. Staff were very helpful and dishes promptly refilled. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinner as the menu looked pretty basic but there are restaurants within walking distance. All in all, nothing special but I would still recommend it for a short stay.

Viaggio di 5 giorni e 4 notti alla scoperta di Berlino. Ottima posizione, vicino alle fermate di autobus e tram e a 15 minuti a piedi dello snodo ferroviario di Alexander Platz da dove puoi raggiungere qualunque parte della città, fino all’aeroporto. Albergo molto grande, con centinaia di stanze divise su 4 piani, ma nonostante tutto abbastanza silenzioso. Sala colazione molto grande e ben arredata, tantissima scelta al buffet, che non rimaneva mai vuoto, con continue aggiunte. C’è anche un bar/ristorante che funziona e bene dal pomeriggio fino a tarda notte. Personale gentile e sempre pronto a soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti. Stanza bella, abbastanza comoda e ben climatizzata. Letto grande e comodo. L’unico neo è il bagno, ben tenuto ma piccolo. Pulizia ben fatta e giornaliera. Da provare.

Posizione eccellente per una vacanza in città a Berlino: sei all'Alex in 5 minuti e la sera puoi rilassarti e mangiare in uno dei tanti ristoranti di Hackescher Markt. Il personale era molto cordiale. Sono state rispettate le regole della distanza dovute a Corona, ma la pulizia in camera mi ha deluso. Il cartello con tutto ciò che si supponeva disinfettato, appeso alla porta ogni giorno, avrebbe potuto essere salvato. Sotto il tavolo c'erano ancora le gocce di cioccolato della precedente. L'asciugacapelli, che secondo il cartello veniva pulito quotidianamente, aveva uno strato di polvere. I piatti che avevo lavato venivano rimessi nell'armadio ogni giorno dal servizio di pulizia, comprese le cose che non avevo ancora lavato, che poi la sera ripulivo dall'armadio. Le prese del bagno erano così ammuffite che non ho collegato nessuna spina. Ho trovato che i giunti mancanti descritti in precedenza nella doccia erano il minimo problema. Anche il sedile del water e il cestino erano rotti. Anche la cassaforte non funzionava.

La stanza era buona e la zona era sorprendentemente tranquilla, tranne durante il riciclaggio! È molto conveniente per Alexanderplatz. Tuttavia, il colazione era povera e il caffè non beveva. Mi sono fatto pagare un cappuccino di sostituzione e mi sono accusato di averlo fatto. (Non è stato meglio). Fortunatamente abbiamo avuto una caldaia nella stanza e abbiamo portato le borse con noi. L’uomo con cui abbiamo parlato il nostro ultimo giorno era divertente e ci ha divertiti quando ci preoccupavamo del treno del dorme, abbiamo lasciato il bagaglio in una stanza sicura e ci ha offerto una chiave per accedere al salone mentre aspettavamo. Purtroppo il WiFi non funzionava nel salone, ma funzionava altrove.

I was checked in by a friendly receptionist at 1:20 pm and received my room right away. The lobby was nicely decorated and gave the impression of a 4-star city hotel. However, the room did not reflect 4-star standards as it was very small and a bit worn out yet clean and tidy. The room could fit a luggage rack, a small closet, a small desk as well as a small coffee table and two chairs. The queen bed was comfortable and the pillows great. The high ceiling gave the room an airy feel but the floorboards were showing their age and would need to be treated. There was a 0.5 L water bottle in the room on arrival, not replenished. There was also a safe and A/C. The trams outside were a bit noisy, but I slept well nevertheless. The thick curtains did a good job keeping the room dark in the morning. The bathroom came with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure in the handheld shower. Amenities (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion; no conditioner) were from Molton Brown, which is a brand I like, but they were provided in wall-mounted containers, which I don’t find as hygienic as single-use bottles even though I of course understand the motivation of saving money this way. Breakfast was served in the ground floor dining room 7–11 (weekends until noon). It would have cost a reasonable 17 EUR/person, but I did not try it. Check-out is already at 11, although they were happy to allow me to stay in the room until noon and to store my luggage until my evening flight. The hotel is located in Hackerscher Markt, with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The nearest Spätkauf for drinks and snacks is on the next block, and the S-Bahn to the airport is a few minutes away. Alexanderplatz is within walking distance; the centre of West-Berlin is a train ride away. Hotel prices in Berlin seem to have gone through the roof post-covid, and my nightly rate of 95 EUR felt a bit much. But I can very well see myself returning in future if the price is right. All in all a solid choice for a business trip or short holiday in Berlin.

We were for a few days in Berlin to do sightseeing und entertainment. soi the location of the hotel was perfect- close to train, bus, shops, restaurants and more. also the rooms were modern, but I missed more lights in my room, in the night the lights were to dark for me...they had nice cosmetic products for hand washing, shower und hair wash, bur I missed a body lotion und shoes for the room. Our rooms were on garden-side, so it was really quite. everybody was really friendly and helpful!

Stai 3 notti. Buona posizione per attrazioni, e trasporto. La reception è, in zona bar e non c'è personale informatizzato, campanella per entrare in reception, poi check-in per servizio privato. Buona Wifi gratuita. Camera da letto è pulita e confortevole con TV. 1 comodo 2 letti singoli insieme puliti. Il bagno è condizionato e molto pulito con i bagni. Nessuna struttura per la caffè in camera. È necessario richiedere un asciugamano fresco. Il colazione è continentale con cereali, bacche, formaggio e carne, succo e coffee.2 giorni di soggiorno alzati fuori azione e al 5° piano. È possibile lasciare borse gratis a 3 minuti a piedi dall'hotel sorella. Raccomandere e restare ancora, soprattutto se visitare come solo un minuto di camminare per la strada per treni e molti ristoranti.

I recently stayed a few days at Motel One Alexanderplatz and was highly impressed! The check-in lady was super nice, and the process was a breeze! I found the room to be surprisingely spacious, and the bed very comfortable! I’ve stayed in several low cost hotels around the world, and I believe Motel One has been the best so far. The room was very clean, and the shower pressure quite decent! The hotel is situated next to a busy street but I heard nothing else than the occasional siren - and even that was quiet. Internet worked great! The only problem I had was with the television which was veeery slow and had veeeery few English channels - and only a few of them would show anything other than the black screen. Keep in mind that the hotel is a little bit of a walk from the «main» attractions like Brandenburg Tor! After a long day, a 30 minute walk isn’t the most attractive. Apart from that, great hotel for a super cheap price! Highly recommended

This was a lovely hotel with wonderful, friendly, management and staff. I cannot say enough good things about Gaspar in hotel management who welcomed us with a smile and an open invitation to address any concerns we had. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The bar staff makes wonderful drinks and there is a comfortable sitting area that adjoins the bar and lobby area. The location cannot be beat. A river, many museums, monuments, parks, and restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel also serves meals. I would highly recommend the Arcotel John F in Berlin !

Posizione eccellente per una vacanza in città a Berlino: sei all'Alex in 5 minuti e la sera puoi rilassarti e mangiare in uno dei tanti ristoranti di Hackescher Markt. Il personale era molto cordiale. Sono state rispettate le regole della distanza dovute a Corona, ma la pulizia in camera mi ha deluso. Il cartello con tutto ciò che si supponeva disinfettato, appeso alla porta ogni giorno, avrebbe potuto essere salvato. Sotto il tavolo c'erano ancora le gocce di cioccolato della precedente. L'asciugacapelli, che secondo il cartello veniva pulito quotidianamente, aveva uno strato di polvere. I piatti che avevo lavato venivano rimessi nell'armadio ogni giorno dal servizio di pulizia, comprese le cose che non avevo ancora lavato, che poi la sera ripulivo dall'armadio. Le prese del bagno erano così ammuffite che non ho collegato nessuna spina. Ho trovato che i giunti mancanti descritti in precedenza nella doccia erano il minimo problema. Anche il sedile del water e il cestino erano rotti. Anche la cassaforte non funzionava.

La stanza era buona e la zona era sorprendentemente tranquilla, tranne durante il riciclaggio! È molto conveniente per Alexanderplatz. Tuttavia, il colazione era povera e il caffè non beveva. Mi sono fatto pagare un cappuccino di sostituzione e mi sono accusato di averlo fatto. (Non è stato meglio). Fortunatamente abbiamo avuto una caldaia nella stanza e abbiamo portato le borse con noi. L’uomo con cui abbiamo parlato il nostro ultimo giorno era divertente e ci ha divertiti quando ci preoccupavamo del treno del dorme, abbiamo lasciato il bagaglio in una stanza sicura e ci ha offerto una chiave per accedere al salone mentre aspettavamo. Purtroppo il WiFi non funzionava nel salone, ma funzionava altrove.

I was checked in by a friendly receptionist at 1:20 pm and received my room right away. The lobby was nicely decorated and gave the impression of a 4-star city hotel. However, the room did not reflect 4-star standards as it was very small and a bit worn out yet clean and tidy. The room could fit a luggage rack, a small closet, a small desk as well as a small coffee table and two chairs. The queen bed was comfortable and the pillows great. The high ceiling gave the room an airy feel but the floorboards were showing their age and would need to be treated. There was a 0.5 L water bottle in the room on arrival, not replenished. There was also a safe and A/C. The trams outside were a bit noisy, but I slept well nevertheless. The thick curtains did a good job keeping the room dark in the morning. The bathroom came with a walk-in shower with excellent water pressure in the handheld shower. Amenities (shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and body lotion; no conditioner) were from Molton Brown, which is a brand I like, but they were provided in wall-mounted containers, which I don’t find as hygienic as single-use bottles even though I of course understand the motivation of saving money this way. Breakfast was served in the ground floor dining room 7–11 (weekends until noon). It would have cost a reasonable 17 EUR/person, but I did not try it. Check-out is already at 11, although they were happy to allow me to stay in the room until noon and to store my luggage until my evening flight. The hotel is located in Hackerscher Markt, with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. The nearest Spätkauf for drinks and snacks is on the next block, and the S-Bahn to the airport is a few minutes away. Alexanderplatz is within walking distance; the centre of West-Berlin is a train ride away. Hotel prices in Berlin seem to have gone through the roof post-covid, and my nightly rate of 95 EUR felt a bit much. But I can very well see myself returning in future if the price is right. All in all a solid choice for a business trip or short holiday in Berlin.
