Facile da raggiungere e vicino a molti punti di visita famosi nel centro storico della città

La colazione a buffet era buona. La camera è piuttosto spaziosa per 2 persone, possiamo sdraiarci e aprire 2 valigie contemporaneamente con facilità. Sono forniti alcuni appendini, asse da stiro, asciugacapelli. Il personale è stato gentile.

Ottima posizione dell'hotel, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro città e dalla città vecchia. Ideale anche per il porto Hurtigruten. Bella camera a un buon prezzo.

L'hotel sembra un po' decadente. Ho letto i commenti qui prima di prenotare e qualcuno ha menzionato un buco nelle piastrelle del bagno e la direzione dell'hotel ha risposto dicendo che avrebbero chiamato la manutenzione. Questo commento risale a un paio di anni fa e il buco è ancora lì. Ero nell'edificio annesso che è decisamente più fatiscente. Forse investire parte dei soldi nell'hotel? Inoltre gli ospiti nella stanza accanto alla mia stavano organizzando una festa ma il personale ha chiuso dopo aver parlato con loro. Ho soggiornato in circa 12 hotel nelle ultime cinque settimane in viaggio per l'Europa e questo hotel è molto vicino al fondo della lista, il che è sorprendente perché mi aspettavo di più dalla tappa norvegese del mio viaggio. Il personale è stato molto cordiale, è solo un peccato che la direzione dell'hotel non utilizzi i propri profitti a vantaggio dell'hotel e del personale.

Posizione e colazione fantastica. Non ho pulito la stanza, il pavimento degli occhiali ecc. Ho solo svuotato i cestini e gli asciugamani puliti. Tutto il resto era perfetto.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this Scandic hotel. There are three buildings in total, and it seems that only the main building has renovated rooms. We were given a room in one of the side buildings. We wouldn’t have minded an older room – if it hadn’t been for all the issues: stains and holes in the walls, visible dirt on the sink and beneath the toilet tank, damaged curtains, a dirty fridge, a worn-out towel, and poorly insulated windows that made it sound like they were open whenever a truck passed by. In addition, there were no power outlets near the beds or in the bathroom – only one near the TV and one on the floor where a floor lamp was plugged in. The lampshade was stained, and it was uncomfortably warm in the room even in early May. There was no air conditioning. In the bathroom, an old, yellowed wall-mounted hairdryer was installed, and although a newer one was provided in the room, there was no socket in the bathroom to use it. During booking, it was not clear which building the room would be in, or whether it would be a renovated room – this lack of transparency is very disappointing. On the positive side: the reception and lobby were modern and renovated, and the breakfast buffet was – as expected from Scandic – rich and delicious. Still, we checked out after just one night and found another hotel. From Scandic and a 4-star hotel, we expected much better.

This is a review for Scandic ornen since the hotel was unable to find the roomfor our booking so we were relocated to Scandic Ornen. It was great. Nice room and staff.

The reception staff are friendly and helpful. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the train station and light rail station for the airport. The breakfast is good. We came back after away for the 3-day Norway in a Nutshell tour. We left our suitcases in the hotel storage room while we were away and travelled relatively hand-free.

The hotel is in city center the room is clean and the bathroom is large and clean .good pressure hot water.the breakfast is excellent very big variety as usual at scandic .the lobby is nice with fireplace
