Double R Guest Ranch

As a disabled (Blind) rider, this was my best vacation ever. Initially when I contacted Ron, I was hesitant due to my disability. Ron’s reply was “no problem we will make it work” and that’s exactly what he did. The horses were amazing. Trails were awesome. The staff was incredible. I would highly recommend the Double R Guest Ranch for people with or without disabilities. The true western experience.

We spent an incredible 6 days at the RR Ranch for our honeymoon, and couldn't have imagined a better experience. I had riding experience and my husband had never been on a horse, yet we were both able to enjoy the trails and horses together, and my husband left the Ranch with confidence on the horses. The Ranch hands and guides were amazing, and the family atmosphere couldn't be beat. We are already trying to figure out how to make our way back!

Yes it was hot in Arizona in July but it’s a dry heat. Seriously it was a great time as slow season. I spent 6 glorious days n nights. I rode 5 different horses because it was slow season and not packed. The owners really do great you as guests but you leave as family. My cabin was comfy. The food was good. Staff I met were good. Billy was my guide every day and he is awesome. The trip to tombstone was excellent. Had so much fun and am thrilled the owners could accompany me. I definitely recommend the double R ranch. I hope to go back when it’s cooler temps. The horses are wonderful. They are well cared for and that is critical to me since I work at a rescue and a therapeutic riding center in Florida.

Fully loved my three-night stay at Double R, down to the owners, wranglers, and horses I could not have asked for a more wonderful get away. I was welcomed as family and overwhelmed by the beauty of AZ skies and trails. Plenty of riding time with great horses, and accommodations were wonderful. THANK YOU for a lifetime of memories.

Ron & Trina, are wonderful owners and make everyone feel welcome! There horses are well taken care of and wranglers are very well mannered! If a person wanted to watch the stars at night this is a great location, far out in country!

Loved our ranch stay Our cabin was spacious, clean, comfortable, and private. I loved being near the horses. Amenities such as fridge and tv were nice. My phone struggled to connect to the Wi-Fi, but I didn’t really need it for this trip. I would love to return!
