The accommodation is great, the hosts are welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile. Very clean, neat and quiet. The only issue is the door locks. Either than that we enjoyed the time we spent, the garden, the pool, and the braai facilities were our highlights.

Annamarie the hostess was very kind and accomodating, and took me in when the place I had previously booked proved uninhabitable. I arrived quite late on Sunday evening, having only given short notice, in the midst of load shedding, and was still warmly welcomed. The rooms are large and comfortable, the historic mansion is set in spectacular, well-tended gardens. If you want to experience the gracious hospitality and personal welcome of days gone by, then visit here. They do not provide breakfasts, but the room I was in offered adequate self-catering facilities and there are several places to eat or buy food nearby. Think thick blankets, comfortable beds, fine old furniture and grand architecture from the previous Century set among extensive gardens, in a quiet secure suburb on near Benoni, (East Rand). Staying there was an experience and I would certainly book there again if I was in that area.
