When you get to the end of the dirt drive you will find the house secluded on over 50 acres of woods and dunes. In fact, since all of the neighboring properties are also un-inhabited forest, you'll be sitting in the middle of several hundred acres of woods.The house sits on about 1-acre of open field which at the tip drops down into a valley. Our overlook point is one of the highest spots in the immediate area, so you will have a view overlooking the forest for as far as the eye can see. We've got a fire pit set up on the point, and you can sit here in the woods and still feel the Lake Michigan breeze (which is 3/4 mile to the East).There are walking trails throughout the property and you can take a nice stroll through the woods. In addition to deer, you will see wild turkey, porcupines, squirrels, frogs, hawks, and lots of other birds.
