Hotel Gold Arcos

This was my 4th visit this year and I've just booked again for January, This is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Benidorm and easily ranks among some of the finest anywhere! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome—they were so friendly, always smiling, and clearly loved what they do. It set such a positive tone for our stay. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning—modern, spotless, and effortlessly luxurious. The rooms are enormous, far bigger than I expected, and the double beds were incredibly comfortable—like sleeping on a cloud. And those 65” TVs? Perfect for unwinding after a day out, along with the coffee-making facilities that made mornings feel extra indulgent. The shower was a highlight too—spacious, with amazing water pressure, it felt like a spa experience every time. One thing I absolutely loved was how quiet the rooms were. Despite being in such a vibrant location, you couldn’t hear a thing from outside. It was such a peaceful retreat. And then there’s the rooftop…wow! The rooftop bar is simply amazing, with stunning views over Benidorm and the beach—a perfect spot for a drink as the sun sets. The pool and hot tub up there were the icing on the cake. It felt like being in a private oasis high above the city. The only downside, if I’m being picky, was the restaurant food. It wasn’t great, but honestly, with everything else this hotel offers, we didn’t even care. There are so many dining options nearby that we were happy to explore instead. If you’re considering a trip to Benidorm, this hotel should be at the top of your list. It’s an absolute gem, and I can’t wait to come back!

Arrived new years eve ,all seemed OK. New years day we were both in bed at 2pm with food poisoning *( NOT FROM THE HOTEL) . we had 1 bottle of water each, we were seriously ill, both ends 🤮🤢💩 by 8pm we couldn't leave the bathroom. My point of the review is as follows.... I phoned reception at 8 to ask for some fresh towels, toilet paper and some water as we were getting seriously dehydrated. Ok was the answer, rang back at 11, by this time we could hardly stand. KNOWONE CAME. . fell asleep exhausted and dehydrated, to wake at 7 ,and visit the bathroom multiple times more. Rang reception against , just rang and rang. Got dressed to go down ,fuming and clenched cheeks. My wife continued to ring while I was going down to reception. Got there the women was sat there!!!!! . Ask if her phone was broken ? . She picked it up and pressed a button and said oh room 205. IT WAS MUTED . asked why knowone had been to our room as requested? . I walked 30 yards to the supermarket and when I got back she was waiting with 2 towels and 2 bottles of water, no toilet paper. Fuming 😡. The cleaner came later that day and a half hearted job of cleaning up, we had done most of it ourselves. Next day they only half done the room and left all their cleaning stuff in our room and balcony doors wide open. From when arrived the glass on the balcony has never been washed. Maybe the staff need to go across the road to the helios or presidente for some training. 4* superior no chance. Food average at best, reception staff and cleaners shocking. My only fear was we were stuck in that room for 2 days and not one phone call to check we were OK. Get me home Tuesday. 20 visits to benidorm, but never again to this place.

Fabulous attentive and friendly service from Diego at The Sky Lounge. Nothing was any trouble, first class customer service. Both The Archers Lounge and The Sky Lounge are great venues, real hidden gems. Both bars very empty, if your looking for a quieter drink with excellent service visit these bars.

Brilliant hotel we stayed in a Gold premium room and got it for a brilliant price already checked for next year its well over double the price. Reception- Always polite and full of information Room- Absolutely stunning massive TV, free safe, coffee machine, Kettle,Fridge, 2 king size beds and a lovely sea view balcony, bathroom lovely with a huge power shower . Iron and ironing board Restaurant- We were bed and breakfast so can only comment on that. Chef happy to cook an omelette however he was by himself and was having to replenish the hot stuff also culminating in huge queues felt really sorry for him on NYE as I could feel his frustration and I’m sure the maintenance man was cooking eggs in the kitchen. Good choice of fruits, Hams and Cheeses, plenty bread and a slow toaster. Tried both coffee machines in restaurant and thought both were very poor having to put coffee sachets in for a decent cup. Microwave if you need it. Back bacon, English sausage, plum tomatoes and Black Pudding also available Arches lounge- Great place to chill sports on 2 screens and also live entertainment on at nights Top floor- Great pool area and could imagine being hectic in the summer months also has an upper level with a jacuzzi. The sky lounge also up on the roof is another great place to chill with 360 views of Benidorm Staff-Everyone we encountered was professional and courteous from cleaners, Restaurant staff, Reception and Security Royal Arrow- Great bar underneath the hotel not sure it’s affiliated to the hotel but good cheap pints

Victoria front Desk Nicole sky bar fantastic helpful staff,will return alone with confidence because of them…rooms fab..the staff are excellent the rooms are wonderful you could not ask for anything more from this hotel….!!! …………………..

Just back from another 9 nights at the Arcos and still my favourite hotel in Benidorm. Still have the comfiest sleep ever here and the rooms are brilliant with great shower room. Went B&B as usual and choice a plenty in the restaurant with great service. Lales as ever extremely attentive. Reception are great. Arrived extremely early and room was ready in very little time at all. Didn't even leave the hotel by the time it was. The rooftop pool was heated so was lovely once acclimatised and then the luxury of the heated jacuzzi to follow was bliss. Had food up there one day and very good and reasonably priced. The lady behind the bar up there was extremely charming and am sorry I cannot remember her name but she needs mentioning. Rooms are cleaned daily with towels changed. There was one time however it wasn't cleaned and I mentioned this to reception and by the time we returned that evening, the towels has been changed as requested by us so problem solved. This is the first time ever this has happened so hopefully just a blip. I consider the Arcos a luxury hotel and there are a couple of points which need mentioning. The ceiling in our room (1007) had a few marks on it. Looked like food so who knows how it got there but needs sorting. There is a large scuff mark on the left curtain before the balcony. These are not urgent issues but as said, expect better from a hotel of this quality. The lifts are brilliant as usual and never a problem getting one, but a couple have dents/holes bashed into them. Again not a major problem but this hotel should be addressing this. I love this hotel and is always my first port of call in Benidorm and still will be. But small problems like those I have listed can be the start of a downward trend if not addressed and it would be a crying shame for this hotel to falter as it is on the whole superb.
