Hotel Brisa

We booked this small hotel for an overnight stay to see family on holiday in Benidorm. Great location on the beach, huge room with two balcony’s. Good view over the beach with an adequate balcony at the front and a small balcony at the side. Excellent receptionist and staff. We had lunch here and could not fault it, the breakfast in the morning was good too. Parking was at the ****** carpark around the corner and was easy to find. A family run hotel since 1959, we even met the owner that has run the hotel since then and lives on the top floor. We have already booked to go back, recommended

Beware of the milk cartons in the restaurant. After having my morning muesli, I went with friends for a walk, when I returned I was seriously ill, I was vomiting and in a space of 4 hours loss conscious, I had diarrhea too. Out of my 4 day stay I was in bed for 3 of them with food poisoning. I did complain at the reception desk but, it seemed no notes were taken concerning this. On checking out I was charged an extra €6 I asked why, it's cos we had extra coffee pods? We were in a suite, only a coffee machine, with 2 pods on arrival, we presumed these got refilled daily, so when it wasn't refilled we went to reception and asked for 6 more for the 3 mornings we had left there. So request a kettle and buy your own tea & coffee. I've since sent an email and had no reply. The milk once open must be refrigerated, I'm guessing it was left out until the following morning as this milk is purchased off the shelf, not from a fridge. The housekeeper was very good she came cleared all my bedding, which was covered in vomit and remade the bed and left fresh towels, we obviously tipped her for dealing with the mess. Apart from that hotel was clean, quite noisy if they have entertainment on, which we could hear but, we were on the 1st floor. Just a shame my first visit to Benadorm and only got to spend one day enjoying the beach, shops and a visit to the old town. I'll never stay at this hotel with their couldn't careless attitude but, I will be back to Benadorm.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the front desk manager. A charming lady, who apologised for my room not being ready, even though I was two hours early. No problem. I decided to have a bocadillo and a beer on the terrace overlooking the sea. The waiter was very helpful and pleasant even though he’s was very busy. My room was spotless clean, with everything in good working order. Albeit there were signs of wear and tear, you would expect with such a popular hotel. The maid service was fantastic also, with my room immaculate every time I’d returned after being out visiting friends for the day. Breakfast, people have commented on here regarding the lack of British items 🙄🙄🙄 you’re in Spain eat like a local. I will say this, the food selection was vast and varied from European and British items. There was something for everyone to enjoy. It was all fresh and very well kept. The hotel is a fantastic location on the beachfront. Every member of staff I came into contact with was typical of the warm Spanish hospitality you can expect. Frankly there’s nothing not quite to like.

I've been to Benidorm a couple of times, walked past this hotel and thought it would be a nice place to stay! It's in a great location on Levante beach, it's a smaller hotel which I always prefer as it's easy to get around. The rooms aren't luxury as such but they are modern, have everything you would need and are really clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the side sea view on the balcony was lovely and relaxing. We had dinner bed and breakfast and we're really pleased we went for that option. The food was very tasty, I think there could have been a little bit more choice for salads and fruit such as more types of melon but that's just my own preference. All the staff including reception, housekeeping and restaurant/bar staff were friendly, helpful and are hard workers. They always said hello. Blanca on reception was great and very helpful and informative. We also appreciated being able to leave our luggage before check in and after check out. Thank you for a great stay and we will hopefully be back again soon!

My wife & I decided to stay here purely based on the location,which is first class.This hotel tends to be more expensive than some of the other hotels in Benidorm. Don't think that we would stay here again,unless we got a good deal on price........we have stayed at far better hotels in Benidorm that are not as expensive & have had far better food........back in January.....but not in the Brisa !

Just back from a 5 night stay in this hotel, to start with we booked 2 rooms next to each other with we didn't get, one of the rooms were so small and the balcony was so small it could only fit 1 chair to sit out on, this was an absolute joke and we also paid extra for side view of the beach. The hotel room was very clean but the reception staff where so rude and the food was the same every morning and night nothing to write home about, when we checked out there was no changing facilities and we just had to get a quick clean in the hotel toilet. Definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel and wouldn't stay in it if I got it for free
