Hotel Avenida

Room was lovely clean and comfortable - Disabled person, this hotel may not be right for you if you require mobility scooters the hotel doesn’t allow them to restored anywhere in the hotel which can be a problem if you’re there for a week and have mobility issues The hotel, we you need to look into this!! They also need to look at their Barman who on my last day After we checked out, we had a few hours for our transfer arrived So I went to the lounge bar and sat there and after a few hours all Man came up to me abruptly and asked me what I was doing and started accusing me of loitering he ended up getting getting a manager where I had to provide my flight details it was just an awful end to a lovely holiday!!!

Nice friendly centrally located hotel only a couple of minutes walk from Levante beech. Very close to lovely cafes brilliant for people watching. We only had breakfast but good buffet selection of hot and cold options. Nice roof top with sun beds and bar close by. Rooms very clean and comfortable bed with nice bathroom and shower. Nice bar, which stays open until 1am with some entertainment and reasonable priced drinks - wine was €1.80 a glass. It was dated, but all the positive things make it an excellent hotel

Stayed 27/4/24-4/5. First time at this hotel and stayed all inclusive. Traveled by taxi and was dropped off at the top of a pedestrian only area, at, the Avenida De Ruzafa where there is a Taxi rank and about 5-10 mins walk from the hotel. Arrived about 13.30 and checked in at a small reception area. This only took about 10 mins as it was not busy. Incidentally, as I booked direct with the hotel, it was pay on arrival. After given the usual basic hotel info and directions to my room via the lifts, I then joined a couple of people waiting, which took ages as the (2) lifts were slow and small, with a 4 persons limit which, really would only be 2 plus luggage in reality. For someone in a wheelchair it might be a tight squeeze. I was lucky as my room was on the 1st floor. The room was very clean and reasonably large with a double bed, plenty of wardrobe hangers,storage space,safe, small fridge flat screen tv. The tv was positioned a bit high up, this was because there was a once connecting door which was now the luggage storage facility. The bathroom had a twin headed shower which had good pressure and good hot water, with plenty of shower gel, the wash basin had some nice complimentary accessories,also a hairdryer. Leading off from the bedroom was a large balcony with a table and 2 chairs. This was overlooking the pedestrianised crossroad area. This was ideal for people watching (and I saw some sights). However, it should be noted that there was a school for 6-16yo which the senior pupils seemed to gather right outside my window at about 07.40 and were noisy until 08.00, (alright I was young once) the other thing I should mention, which I didn't notice till the 1st May was about 02.45 the bin men briefly came as well as the street washer,and they were noisy. Now for me, the Bar and Restaurant were only a short walk down stairs,which given how slow the lifts were, was a blessing. As for the bar, it was fairly small but was well stocked with branded drinks, 1 Estrella and 1 Old English cider pump. The service was very good. The bar was situated in a well appointed lounge/entertainment area,although, depending where you were seated, the small stage area could be obstructed by pillars. There was also a small dance area. Onto the restaurant it had plenty of seating with tables for 2,4,8 persons (thou this could be adjusted) they were clean with plate cloth,cutlery,napkin a drinks glass. The food was varied, although maybe a bit repetitive, having said that I personally had no trouble at not being too repetitive. It was of a good quality,fresh and warm to hot(depending on the timing) there was a microwave, but, I never saw anyone use it. The food was constantly topped up. Yes the staff did clear the tables quickly but not as though they were rushing you. If I had a slight problem, it was the first time of using the restaurant, I was asked what drink I would like, but was not asked again till two days later,I expect if I had asked I could have got a drink.

Stayed here on a last minute booking for 4 nights commencing 23/09/2024. Hotel lovely and clean, breakfast had a good choice of food to cater for all people of all ages. Staff very happy & polite. It was my partners birthday on the day we arrived. The desk manager wished him Happy Birthday. That night they put a bottle of sparkling wine in our room - a lovely thoughtful surprise. Never been to Benidorm before but would recommend this hotel as very comfortable and in a good location for all amenities but not too noisy.

Stayed again from 10th -17th September and can’t fault it a second time great people and fantastic atmosphere arrived late due to delay but wasn’t bad great week did so many adventures out there Only a short review this time as I did a full one in April is it bad that I’m going back in April next year for 2 weeks Big shoutout to the guys on reception and the legendary Lucian he’s always on hand to help And thanks to them for the lovely surprise you set up in the room for mum as it was her bday out there the champagne is safely packed away and on its way home to the uk Thanks again and see you in April 2025 All the best mr Birrell room 424

A beautiful hotel and would recommend it the staff are very friendly and the rooms are excellent and great service from all the staff .Thank you for a great stay at Avenida I will definitely return as soon as is possible for me to do so and a big thank you to all your staff for their service .

This place is absolutely amazing. We booked all inclusive with a balcony. I saw that someone had written on here that they had emailed ahead to request a high floor with sea view. I did this and we had a 4th floor room with a beautiful sea view. Not only that but the 4th floor has bigger balconies than above so my friend and I were really pleased. The food is fantastic, so much choice and cooked to perfection. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The roof top pool and whirlpool tub is lovely with all day sun and gorgeous views. Not one day did we fail to get a bed and that was various times of the day. We made so many friends up there and the atmosphere is lovely. The all inclusive drinks are branded. The cocktails aren’t great but that’s not an issue with so much choice of other drinks. The poolside snacks are basic but tasty. The location is perfect, easy to get to both the old and new town areas. The shops around are really nice. I really cannot understand the negative reviews on here. Have I been to better all inclusive hotels? Yes, but each and every one have their own pros and cons, plus a lot of the guests are not AI so the hotel are catering for all board types. You would have to be very fussy to dislike this gem of a hotel. I would without a doubt return but would not book with easyJet again as the coach transfer was awful and lots of people I spoke to had the same experience. Two hours for a 50 minute journey is not great.

Great location I've read some reviews and have to disagree with some of them. This hotel is in a fantastic location. I agree it is dated and the entertainment isn't up to much but the roomsare nice and clean and the rooftop pool is adequate. All inclusive food and drink is great and definitely worth the money. I don't walk very well so the location was great as I could manage to get around easily. Such a lovely place, the staff are amazing and we've booked to come back next year

Although our holiday was lovely, we have never felt so unwelcome in an all inclusive hotel. A handful of staff were lovely, but for the most part they were rude, argumentative and made it clear they didn’t want the brits there. The hotel room was lovely, clean, modern and perfect for our needs. There are only two lifts which were mostly taken up by staff, who when we asked if we could come in, they said no and pushed the buttons to close the door. There were a ridiculous amount of rules for all inclusive guests, such as one drink per person, and only the cheap ice creams were included. The top ( and only outside bit) of the hotel was closed at 7 so unless you wanted to leave the hotel you would be confined to a hot and stuffy room, especially in the bar where the aircon was broken. There is no shade by the pool, and when asked for a parasol we were told brits can’t be trusted because we might hit eachother with them. The breakfasts and lunch were okay, but the evening meal was so bad we ate out for 4 nights of the 7. At one lunchtime my mum asked for a cup of coffee with her lunch where she was told they won’t serve it here she needs to go to the bar. One evening we had a tequila sunrise and asked the bartender how it was made … he said for all inclusive guests we just use fanta, but if you pay for it we do it properly like this … (proceeded to do the correct measurements and shaking etc). The evening entertainment was purely for the spanish guests which was a shame. There are posters around the hotel saying if you require a pack up please let reception know, so with that in mind i asked if my mum and i could have a few pastries and a bottle of water as we leave early in the morning and wouldn’t have time to go down to the restaurant, with that we were told no with no explanation. Thankfully we made friends and made our own entertainment which means we did have a good holiday. I suppose if you want a hotel that has lots of rules and exemptions against the all inclusive name then go here. Like i say, we’ve never been somewhere with so many rules and where ourselves and other british guests are made to feel unwelcome and uncomfortable, which was a regular conversation between us when huddled around the tiny pool (which does not look like the pictures!)
