This is our second stay at this hotel. First one was over 10 years ago. We stayed for three nights in one of the air conditioned rooms. There are positives and negatives with a lot of things here. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of options. Downside was no espresso coffee unless you paid extra. Most of the restaurant staff were good. Special mention to Thyrone for going out of his way to make us feel welcome. The check in staff are all smiles. There were 7 staff behind the counter when we checked in with 2 working and 5 standing around watching. We tried booking massage during our stay and our request was miscommunicated. Not a huge deal but annoying nonetheless. Our room was ordinary. Nice balcony to sit and relax outside. The carpet was well past its use-by date. Poor lighting, the sliding door to the balcony kept jamming and was difficult to operate, the traffic noise even on the fifth floor was loud, the wall to the neighbouring room was thin. We could hear their baby crying, morning alarm, tv and conversation easily. The Wi-Fi speed was ok, not great at 12mbps. The air conditioning worked well but was sometimes noisy. One of two elevators was not working for the duration of our stay. This did not cause any delays Overall, this place falls short of its claimed 4star rating. It does not charge a high price so exceptions can be made for shortcomings. We are still searching for a quality, value for money 4star place in Baguio.

L'hotel è situato nel centro di baguio.eccellente servizio e molto pulito.. Questo è l'hotel che vogliamo se viaggiamo perché è così pulito e le strutture sono perfette .È come un hotel 5 stelle. Il cibo è buffet e così delizioso.Il personale è così gentile e molto accogliente.Il cibo è molto importante, quindi questo è l'hotel che risponde alle nostre esigenze, perché se uscite, ci vorrà tempo per scegliere un ristorante fuori. Bella idea che l'hotel abbia un cibo buffet.. si può scegliere di voler ...aliment plang sulit kna.. Quando torneremo qui a Baguio, si sceglierà SoTOGRAND HOTEL di nuovo.. Dito na kayo mag stay. è come un hotel 5 stelle.. 💯👍👍👍

Had a stay here for 2 nights with complementary breakfast and I could say that they serve tasty breakfast and the staff are friendly and accomodating. I arrived in Baguio very early but since I could check in later in the afternoon so I tried asking the receptionist if I can check-in early. The hotel became full house the night prior to my arrival so early check in was not amenable, however, they offered that I could leave my belongings so that it wont be a toil on me while I roam downtown while waiting for my check-in time. Toiletries and towels are provided except for bedrooom slippers, which I see as a very slight problem. Overall, it was a pleasant stay!👌🏻

Delicious b-fast buffet and nice & clean room. Front desk & bellman are friendly & attentive! Kudos to them. My only concern is they enter our room on 2nd day to clean & fix without our permission, I’m sure that is not the standard of every hotel especially while we’re gone! What if our things gone? Luckily we don’t usually leave important things only clothes.
