The Inn at The Shore

We were a group of nine taking over the inn for a family reunion. It was one of the best time's we've ever had in a nearly 40-year old tradition. The rooms were warm and comfortable, the hosts - Linda and Bill - somehow knew all of our names the first afternoon we were there, and the common areas were inviting. The entire inn is spotless. But, the breakfasts. I may book a room just to start the day with one of Bill's omelets.

We had a wonderful stay at the Inn. This was our first time visiting the Inn and Linda was so warm and inviting made us feel at home immediately. The rooms are immaculate and the bed comfortable with plenty of pillows to pick from. Looking forward to staying again.

I spent another New Year’s Eve with 9 lifelong friends at this very special Inn. We had a wonderful time and Bill and Linda were very warm and accommodating and made us feel like this was our home away from home. We will definitely return.

This was my second weekend at the Inn. When I walked in I felt comfortable immediately. This place is like grandma's house, with all the decor, china, and the great pool table waiting for a game. Each room is unique and all are decorated with great care. Beds and linens are great, Linda makes sure you have everything you need for an effortless stay. This is so much better than a hotel because here you feel like you are not just another numbered tourist, but a person. Linda and Bill go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, feel welcome, and of course there are the breakfasts.....Also being just 2 blocks from the ocean is so good. The morning light is amazing here. And it's close to mainstream Belmar where there is plenty to do and several fine places to eat. Just yesterday I sat on the porch in the sun and chatted with Linda. What a nice memory to have during the coming winter. Looking for my next visit next spring!

We had a marvelous time! We have been coming here for years and have never been disappointed! The Inn is very clean and the decor is lovely. And the breakfasts are unbelievably delicious. The hosts definitely make you feel like family. We plan to return for many years to come!

I was looking for a nice beach getaway and convenient for meeting with friends in the area. I came across this charming, quaint and lovely gem of a place. Linda and Bill are one of the nicest hosts you'll want to meet. They go out of their way to make you happy and make sure you have everything you need for your stay: Beach set-up, bikes, passes and food recommendations for your day at the shore. Also for your room, consider it done. The rooms are clean and beautifully appointed. Linda even provides fresh flowers. Mine was the Coral Gables. Besides the charming nautical decor, the bed was comfy. Your private bath is a few doors down is nice and clean. I loved the wrap around porch and various choices of seating. There are also some bistro tables if you want your breakfast outside. The grounds are immaculate and well-maintained. A lot of love and care go into this place and it shows. Your breakfast is made to order by Chef Bill, Linda's husband. He is an accomplished chef and knows how to bring something delicious and beautifully presented to the table. However you want your eggs, your choice! I am already planning to comeback in October hopefully with my significant other. The Inn At The Shore is my favorite go-to place for the Summer season 2024 which I intend to stay for a week. Regular visits also. It is perfect for solo travelers, couples and , a gal's getaway. I cannot wait to return!

The Inn is a beautiful property within close distance to the beach. The hosts are extremely accommodating and gracious. Rooms are very clean and breakfast was beyond delicious. We were fortunate to secure a weekend stay during the height of the season.

Linda and Bill are warm, kind and extremely welcoming hosts. The Inn is beautiful (and close to the beach) and the porch is a place you will never want to leave. Bill’s breakfasts give you the chance to choose whatever your heart desires and they are truly delicious. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to go back!

This is a A-Class place to stay. Well-kept rooms & furniture, comfortable mattress, all kept clean. Amenities in bathroom, etc. There is a kitchen (with room in refrigerator to store my own food also). They serve breakfast with many choices of eggs and oatmeal, plus juice, etc., in the adjacent spacious dining room And the adjacent entry-room (before going upstairs) contains a billiards table and a (well-tuned, playable) piano. (I used/enjoyed the latter). Linda and Bill both were warm and accommodating of all my quirky needs. I highly recommend it and them.
