The Lodge Bellingen

Beautiful location. Fresh clean room. The superior queen room we were in is an old motel set up so you can hear other guests when they’re moving about outside. It wasn’t a big problem for us. The spa was not working which was very disappointing as I wasn’t told when booking and we picked where we were staying wanting a pool and spa. We would happily stay again.

Great comfortable, clean and stylish room. The view was amazing, and gardens and lawn well maintained. Receptionist was friendly and helpful and encouraged us to go for a walk to check out the glamping tents as they were free at that time. The complimentary drink for the restaurant/bar was a lovely gesture. Great location to the National Parks and Bellingen shopping location

My partner and I just spent 6 days at the beautiful Bellingen Valley lodge, staying in a superior suite up the top. We found the rooms to be very clean, comfortable and spacious with spectacular views over the Dorrigo mountains and rural setting. We dined at the character-filled restaurant which to our delight was all fresh, local produce and enjoyed good wholesome meals as well as great service from the friendly staff. Overall, we had a lovely time relaxing amongst the well maintained gardens and would highly recommend it. A truly must see.

We stumbled across this charming hidden gem and were firstly impressed by hosts Monique and Anthony who couldn’t do enough to make our stay fabulous. The rooms are exceptionally clean and well appointed. They also have glamming tents which were big enough and comfortable enough to house our family (2 adults and 4 children) it was such a fun novelty. We had dinner at the properties restaurant and the food was outstanding, really top class. Our hosts also pointed us in the direction of all the local attractions, including Dangar Falls, National Park lookout, local brewery, cafes and boutiques. The kids kids also loved feeding the alpacas which were super friendly and cute.

This motel is outside of Bellingen township amongst beautiful gardens. Room i stayed in was small but perfect for me on my own. Owner was friendly and accomodating. Restaurant runs mostly weekends unless there is a large bus group staying. Had the best cooked fish ever. Free yoga classes available on selected days. Just a small piece of heaven.

On checking in to our room we were met with an unpleasant odour. The rubbish bin was full of dirty nappies. The bin was quickly removed but no apology, just told it was the first day on her own for a relatively new cleaner. The room itself was similar to a small motel room albeit better finished but very poor value at $325/night. Never again!
