Evolve Back Hampi

An over rated resort with a lack of concern for the guests. We had 2 snakes on the porch of our suite and the resort couldn't really care much. Took their time to come and remove them. Obviously, no checks and in that period, no guidelines of safety or room change or anything was mentioned. It spoilt our vacation and traumatized our son. Not recommending this ever. For a USD 700-800 a night resort, the level of service in times of exceptional circumstances dropped tremendously.

A full 5 star rating for this 5-star property. It's got impeccable hospitality, extremely courteous and welcoming staff and stunning architecture. I would easily give it 10 stars in nearly everything- staff behaviour, thoughtfulness, food, hospitality, suite decor and opulent architecture. This was my first stay at an Evolve Back property and I am astounded by the whole experience. It beats so many other resorts across the country I have stayed in. Few people I would specifically like to call out for excellent service- Mohanan & his colleague from HK for their smiles and quick service, Chandana, Sudesh and Balamma from front desk who patiently answered all our queries, took out time to make us feel at home & Balamma patiently gave us a Jal Mahal tour too beyond her office hours. In Tuluva, nearly everyone - Vinay, Saurabh and all other staff who were always on their toes. Abhijith - the naturalist who later doubled up as a storyteller for their evening session was excellent. His knowledge about birds, their sounds and the forest is rich and he is very kind. This is one of the longest reviews I have written and every bit of it feels underrated. Clearly the training imparted to the staff is par excellence and that reflects in their collective efforts to keep guest comfort on top. Hospitality aside, they have complimentary high tea, nature’s walk, story telling session and a wonderful souvenir shop. The suite was quite big- comes with an outdoor jacuzzi, complimentary snacks and beverages replenished twice a day and the overall room gave an authentic feel of living in a bygone era. I honestly can’t wait to explore their other 2 properties in India- the Hampi staff and resort have set the benchmark very high. I plan to return here soon, again..

we liked this beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, wonderful places in the hotel, and great food. Everybody was so friendly and helpful. The overall experiance are 100 points! It was very interesting to see the ceremony every evening, where a group of people surrounds the hotel with music and cadellight in order to ask god for protection. We enjoyed so much!

Our stay at Evolve Back in Hampi was fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean, with beautiful decor and incredibly comfortable beds. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to answer our questions and provide local recommendations. The Infinity pool was amazing and so was the evening ambience at the dinnertime that they laid out on the pool side. The Music and Dance was cherry on the cake. One should not miss the incredible massage at the spa. Overall we enjoyed our 2 nights there and we highly recommend this when in Hampi.

I would like to take a moment to share our wonderful experience at Evolve Back, Hampi. From the booking process to check-in, everything was seamless, and the hospitality was exceptional. Ms.Nousheeda, the Hospitality executive went above and beyond by carefully considering our request for a wheelchair-accessible room and arranging one that was conveniently located near the restaurant and other amenities. This made it much easier for us to take our child around without any hassle. A special touch was added when the housekeeping team, ***** with Ms.Nousheeda, arranged a delightful activity in the room. It was a lovely surprise and brought so much joy to my daughter—such a thoughtful and kind gesture. When it came to food, Chef Mr.Prakash & Mr.Harish made sure my daughter’s special meal requirements were met on time, and the food was delicious. Mr. Prakash’s hospitality was outstanding, he ensured that we were well taken care of throughout the stay, which extended to our return journey also. Thanks to all the Tuluva restaurant staff and special mention & thanks to Mr.Pankaj for his service. Though I may not remember all the names of the other staff members, everyone was warm, welcoming, and provided excellent service during our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we look forward to visiting again soon

Having been to their properties in Coorg and Kabini previously, I had no hesitation in booking this property. The staff here are fantastic. Very warm, friendly service from the minute you step in. Dhrishti, our contact person during our stay was extremely helpful. From arranging guided tours, booking hotel restaurants to arranging activities for our kids. She personally made sure we were comfortable during our stay. We usually took breakfast, evening tea and dinner at the hotel. The food was fantastic. A special mention to Jojomo at Bahmani who arranged for us to taste every vegetarian item on the menu. He was super. The rooms are huge. We were in the Zenana and Jal Mahal rooms. Jal Mahal has a private pool and Zenana a jacuzzi. Both equally good. House keeping team are great too.
