Dear Trip.com Customer Support,
I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding a recent booking I made through your platform. The reservation amount displayed during the booking process was approximately ₪700, which I understood to be the total cost.
However, upon arrival at the hotel, I was charged ₪980 – a significant discrepancy of ₪280. It turns out that additional taxes or fees were added at the property, despite no clear indication of this during the booking process on your site.
This is misleading and unacceptable. The total amount shown at checkout should reflect the final amount to be paid – not a partial figure that causes surprise charges upon check-in.
I kindly request a full explanation and reimbursement for the overcharged amount. Please find below the booking.
