Ji Hotel (Beijing Guomao)

In viaggio d'affari ho prenotato la camera 8120, una stanza alla fine di un corridoio al primo piano. La serratura di sicurezza della porta è rotta e non può essere utilizzata. Accanto c'è un passaggio sicuro. Spesso la gente entra ed esce alle sette o alle otto di sera. Il rumore dell'interruttore è molto forte. Anche un una ragazza come me si sente molto insicura. Dato che la stanza era piena e non potevo cambiare stanza, ho messo uno sgabello contro la porta. I cuscini erano molto morbidi e, anche se volevo un cuscino più duro, mi hanno dato tre asciugamani da bagno e li ho piegati per formare un cuscino. Tutte le stagioni precedenti erano molto buone, ma questa è piuttosto deludente.

Hotel is too far from the metro station. It is at least 20 minutes by foot from nearest train station (Dawanglu station), about 5 minutes via bicycle (1.5 yuan). Hotel is in the midst of a business area. Many people would be booking didi (taxi) every morning to go out. Arrived at the hotel past 2pm (check in time was 2pm), but the room was not available yet??? I still had to wait for another 1 hour for them to get the room ready. When asked why wasn’t the room ready yet, they only said it was due to previous guests checking out at 2pm… When we went up to the room, the room floor was still wet. Overall the room was dusty, some parts of the floor was slippery even after it was dry. We went out for dinner and after coming back the aircon was switched off and wasn’t cold at all after switching back on. We called the front desk to ask, they only said they would send a technician. But after 30 minutes and a second call, only did the technician come up to inform us that the aircon for the entire level malfunctioned. Basic housekeeping was done daily. Laundry room available at level 1. Overall was not very satisfied with the services of the staff after encountering all these issues, would not come back again.

The hotel is ideally situated with very helpful staff. English services can be provided and transportation is very convenient. Within riding distance to China mall and The Place for all your shopping needs. Dawang Lu station is also not too far and can be used to travel around by transferring stations.

The hotel is very good located. It is very quiet in the room and the floors are very clean. Also the room was wonderful clean. At breakfast a big choice of Chinese / asian food is available. Also a coffee machine was there, but most of the guests (during my stay were only Chinese guests) were not drinking any coffee or tea for breakfast. There is some issue with the bathroom inside the room. The toilet drain makes sounds, when in some other rooms is using the bathroom and some smell comes from the bathroom from time to time. But overall I liked my stay in this Hotel. Very comfortable and sympathetic hotel staff.

Standard hotel, very comfortable. The only problem is the location which is quite far from the nearest subway station. If you look for some simple but comfortable hotel, this is the one.
