Is a genuine 4 star hotel with the restaurants, souvenir, coffee shops and gym that provides little extra amenities and services. Stayed in 'single occupancy' room. An 'old school' type hotel lacking the modern smart tech but has all the sockets and lighting controls where you need them Has double bed (very comfortable), bath/shower, refrigerator, umbrella, clothing and shoe storage chests and compar**ents, and many furnishings of high quality such as two comfortable chairs and solid coffee table, luggage tray, bedside platforms and the large TV unit all made of mahogany timber. Good carpets throughout the room and elegant hallways. Has a Beijing Opera Theatre on site and was fortunate enough to stay during ***** New Year of the Dragon festival. The crew from the Theatre gave a free Dragon dance performance in the reception/ foyer. Only 400m from line 7 metro and southern entrance to Hutong area of Qianmen. Ate a set meal for 2 peopke at restaurant (140 quai)- very good. An enjoyable time in the northern capital was made better by staying at this hotel. Recommend.

The Jianguo Hotel was a very pleasant surprise. Great location in central Beijing. Shows every sign of a high quality build that is well maintained. Room was very clean. Desk staff had little English, but between smiles and the omnipotent Google translate APP, communications was never an issue. Food in the hotel restaurants was good standard, and, like the hotel itself, great value. And having the Beijing Opera performing in the hotel each night was a big plus. Happy to thoroughly recommend Jianguo to anyone travelling to Beijing.

I have been to this hotel i 2009, 2016 and again in 2024.when I entered the hotel this year I felt that it had become empty and deserted...no people, no lights, dark and abandoned...anyway the room are ok, the bed and linned excellent. Not much to do in the area...but at least close to subway line 7

Second time I stayed here in a week. Room nice. Hotel has old world charm. Delightful really. Close to Hufangqiao subway station. Recommend unreservedly.

Location is good in terms of reaching the subway station and the sight seeing spots. Few restaurants nearby. The hotel a little old… Price vs. Performance is ok, but not very good.

Very nice hotel room size for solo traveler. Train station is just outside the hotel.

Inconvenient location to downtown. The hotel was dusty at the front door.

good location. but most facilities seem to be renovation. the receptions, front desk and housekeeping are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very nice and clean good location and it has some character as well. I would recommend it to anyone like many hotels now it does not have a fridge in the room which isn't good because i like cold drinks. But overall a good place to stay

房間乾淨整潔，服務態度也特別好，我續訂定錯了房間，準備退了重新訂的，怕我麻煩換房間，也免費給我升級了房間，一家人出門，真的體驗感很好。前台，後勤，工作人員態度都特別棒，酒店設施也沒有想象中的舊，中央空調也給力，一切都很棒。

地理位置優越，附近既有當地小店，也有全聚德總店； 雖然年代久遠，但是衞生非常過關，設施也維護的很好。房內有小冰箱，衞生間枱麪很寬敞，一看就是早年標準的涉外酒店； 服務方面也很到位，大堂有一位年紀較大的男工作人員，一看到客人走向前台就會主動詢問要辦理什麼事項，再引導去往空閑的櫃枱。退房後也會很熱情的給離店客人指路什麼的。 禮賓部的門房小哥也特別熱情。總之很不錯，值得再次入住。遺憾的是梨園劇場沒有開放，不然能見識下國粹。

來北京出差，單位給定在這裏。也屬於北京的市中心，離前門不遠，附近有地鐵，公交，交通非常便利。 酒店的門臉很大氣，有停車場。一進大堂就會有經理熱情的服務，非常親切。 原本在網上訂的是單人間，因為個人原因臨時要換成標雙，杉林經理服務非常貼心細緻，整個換房的過程愉快順利。 酒店雖然稍微有些年代感，但服務有種讓人賓至如歸的感覺，連保潔阿姨都很親切。 禮賓部可以代收快遞暫存，也有機器人可以送上樓。非常的人性化。

房間很乾凈清爽，稍微有點味道，不過服務真的挺好的，很晚入住酒店，前台小范服務很不錯👍🏼給我們升級了房間，給我們送了水果，早餐品種繁多哦，使我們的行程更加完美！
