Had a great stay at El Petit Convent. Hotel is very well situated and just a short walk to the center of Begur. We stayed for a week and used the hotel as a base to explore throughout the Costa Brava. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, modern and, while a bit small, very functional and manageable (and the intent of the stay was not to stay in the hotel room but to be out and about). Breakfast was good with a nice selection of choices and all quite fresh. As we visited in March, it is off season and there were a few other guests but overall quiet. We have to commend, with our many thanks, the assistance we received from Simone, one of the desk staff. She was kind enough to take the time to suggest many restaurants in Begur and in the surrounding towns, but also suggested some flea markets and other stops that would certainly not be in a guidebook. Her recommendations were excellent and definitely made our trip more enjoyable. In regards to some of the other comments, no there is no car park, but it is a medieval town - nothing in the center of Begur has a car park (and we happily respect old school urban planning). There is a large one just a few minutes walk away. Was not inconvenient at all. And if you are seeking to access the beach, the town (again, it is medieval) is situated up on a hill (and topped by the ruins of an old castle with an incredible view). To get the beach is best by car - it's not far to several lovely beaches but far enough (and steep enough) that driving is the best option. If you view the hotel as a base with access to the many shops and restaurants in town, then you'll be very pleased.

We stayed with 4 people twice at this hotel, once as part of a walking holiday and then again at the end of our walking adventures for a long weekend. On both occasions our experience could not have been better. The hotel is quite small and has a very personal feel to it, it is located within close walking distance of the centre of Begur with lots of good restaurants nearby. The rooms are bright, clean with comfy beds and despite the central location very quiet. An excellent buffet breakfast is served in the beautiful medieval basement but the highlight was certainly the attention to detail and helpfulness displayed by the staff who went the extra mile. We will definitely return.

No, you cannot have breakfast before 8.30 am. No, you cannot have a parking, you have to walk 5 minutes. No, there is hardly any access to a beach nearby. No, tv channels do not include international programs except cnn and one German zdf. But the lobby and the rooms smell nice, room is spacious, location is in the middle of the old town, and for one or two nights this place is wonderful. Begur is a place for hikers, bikers, and Costa Brava fans...

The hotel has a special charm with its reclaimed stone walls and fresh, natural design. The room was very comfortable and large. The staff is very friendly and the location is ideal in the center of the town of Begur.

Hotel con encanto en el corazón de Begur. Decoración exquisita y un personal sumamente amable. Hay que destacar que no disponen de parking (hay uno público a escasos 100 metros) y que solo hacen desayunos (en forma de bufet) pero no comidas ni cenas. Nos dieron la habitación número 11. Muy correcta pero al estar justo al lado del comedor donde sirven los desayunos por la mañana había un poco de ruído. Instagram; Recomendaciones @del_huerto_al_plato

Encantador, muy agradable, acogedor y confortable, excelente ubicación, hay un parking cerca. En el baño hay jabón, gel y crema hidratante, que se agradece. También tienen en el salón café y té de cortesía, genial para entrar en calor. En resumen muy satisfechos.

Забронировав номер в этом отеле, ни на минуту не пожалели. Очень красивый холл, зал для завтрака, чистота, порядок. Персонал приветлив. Завтрак был очень вкусным, номер с окнами в маленький зелёный дворик с бассейном. Рекомендую🌹 посетить этот прекрасный город и непременно остановится здесь.

Excellent séjour. Un 10/10 à Simona la réceptionniste pour son accueil chaleureux et sa gentillesse pendant notre séjour. Hôtel bien situé avec beaucoup de charme, belle association du moderne et de l ancien. Chambre et sa petite terrasse au top. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel
