La Maison des Courtines

Excellent location but… - water dripped on our heads at night from A/C - a pump of some kind ran every 10-5 mins all night long for 10 seconds waking us up. - one curtain was hanging off rod - old floor was VERY squeaky every step. The bathroom was nice enough but for the price and the picture on their website (plus our issues), I would not recommend this hotel/apartment.

Our family group of 13 people stayed at La Maison des Courtines for 3 nights. We were in 5 different studios/apartments and every one of us was very impressed by our experience. To begin with, this is not like staying in a hotel room…this is so much better than being at a hotel. La Maison des Courtines is an old private mansion, built in the 1700’s, that has been turned into elegant small apartments. The studios and apartments are much more spacious than a hotel room, including each having a kitchen and clothes-washing machine. After traveling for a week, it was very much appreciated to have the extra space to relax and for everyone to be able to do some laundry. Breakfast is delivered each morning in a cute basket left outside your door and each room is supplied with an nespresso-style coffee machine. Many of us commented that the croissants we had each morning were better than we had in Paris. The interiors of the rooms and the common areas have been beautifully restored but they have left the charm and architectural elements that remind you that you are in a historical building. I stayed in a 2-bedroom/2 bathroom apartment and basically didn’t want to leave. I can’t speak highly enough of the people who work here. This team makes you feel like this is your home and they truly want you to be happy and comfortable, If you are lucky enough to have the chance to visit Beaune, then I highly recommend you stay at this truly unique property.
