"The check in and check out process were really easy and fast, room is spacious, clean and we really like the bed. its king size with fluffy pillow. all basic amenities were provided, iron, hair dryer, sejadah, toothbrush set, drinking water, fridge, kettle. the pool can be better maintained, but my kids have lots of fun playing in the pool with playground in it. Overall, nice stay, not much to complain. There's a restaurant downstairs but better check the price before entering.
Maybe just a little improvement on the housekeeping. we book the room for 2 night and went out, no housekeeping were sent to change the towel, empty the trash bin, refill drinking water, shower foam etc. Need to call and ask (bdway, there's no phone in the room). my suggestion is to put a sign so that the housekeeping know which room need to be tidy up etc."

"This accommodation is located right in front of Nasi Kandar Penang Kayu which opens 24 hours. Queensbay mall is nearby and only takes around 15 mins to the airport (subject to traffic) so as we only stayed 1 night to catch an early flight, it was convenient - location wise. No wifi provided though. Really have table tennis/ping pong table, dart games and movie (we didnt watch any) as seen on the pictures. The building is a bit outdated though. The tenant contacted us directly via Whatsapp and the explanation about the facility was very very clear and helpful."

AAvid travellerThe hotel was very strategically located with various eateries around. The front desk personnel was excellent at all inquiries and very humbler and helpful.The breakfast was excellent and with different menu daily which was excellent. The only one side that need improvement was the gym which need an upgrade and also the pool was in maintenance which i personally was looking forward to a swim , hence i do hope they can speed up the swimming pool maintenance soonest and hope to have another trip to penang and stay at Olive tree again.

We stayed one night with family and had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for families with kids.
The location is excellent, with many food options nearby. Even without the hotel breakfast, it was easy to find good local food in the area.
The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool, especially the mini water park with slides and a playground, although the pool area was a bit small.
One downside was the lack of basic in-room amenities like toothbrush and toothpaste, shower cap, cotton buds, soap bar, and a hair dryer.
Overall, a pleasant stay and a good option for families. Would stay again if basic essentials are improved.
