Disney's Beach Club Resort

It’s absolutely beautiful Food is great Very clean and the staff is wonderful

We stayed at the Beach Club in a club level room for 6 nights during our stay in Orlando with the prime aim of visiting all the Disney theme parks and maximising magic hours. We chose the beach club based on location and had two interconnecting rooms for our family of 4. We also chose the club level to enjoy the extra facilities that offered. It delivered exactly what we wanted. The club level lounge was brilliant for a quick breakfast before we headed out early each day, the drinks (including alcohol) snacks and coffees were perfect for a quick recharge, rewind whenever we needed during the day. The rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable after long days in the parks. The location was great for the skyliner, boat and bus to various parks. We also walked to Hollywood studios (about half an hour) to save on transport waits. Epcot was on the doorstep so that was great. The only downside was the bus timetable was not very clear unless you found it buried in the Disney app so we found we timed this wrong a couple of days which impacted our magic hours. This could do with being publicised better, maybe as a ‘live departure’ board in the club lounge or reception. Overall though a great choice for a Disney break and we’d definitely recommend.

Don’t stay here for any other reason than using the Disney facilities. Unfortunately went to a conference and was booked here and was placed next to the elevator and all day long there is the noise from elevator and screaming kids. Hotel management does not care

We never actually stayed at the hotel. But the experience of trying to cancel a booking with Disney, 14 days in advance I might add, was extraordinarily aggravating. It’s an experience that others should be aware of. Our plans to visit Disney World were in conjunction with a planned family visit that had to be postponed due to damage from 2 recent hurricanes. It took 4 days of emails, phone calls and many minutes of waiting on hold to finally get someone to simply help me cancel the hotel reservation. Unbelievably absurd. I noticed when I booked the Beach Resort that I couldn’t find any cancellation policy which is extremely unusual for a hotel. And now I know why. That policy was made clear to me after 4 days of emails and phone calls that began 14 days in advance of our planned arrival. A 65€ fee…per person. One cancellation fee wouldn’t be enough for Disney. No, why not multiply it for every guest as if it were an airplane ticket? Needless to say, I have lost all respect for Disney and I have no incentive to ever stay at a Disney owned hotel in the future. And any future visit to Disney World will be a first and last experience for the sole purpose of providing that pleasure to my young children.

I absolutely loved the resorts design and over all cleanliness, it was stunning to walk throughout the resort and the easy entry to Epcot was great! However, I wouldn’t say this hotel is worth much more than port Orleans French quarter. It’s definitely nicer than Port Orleans but there’s not really anything much else apart from the design, I’m glad I stayed there but it’s honestly not worth double the price as Port Orleans.

Beach club cannot compare to the elegance of yacht club despite calling yacht their sister hotel. Beach is so worn. The decor worn and torn. Paint peeling. Walls so thin you can hear staff and visitors packing and arriving and leaving. And their alarm clocks every morning. It’s truly ridiculous. Lobby is worn out and tired. They have BLACK painted stairs to the second floor . .. needs to be a different color. Looks hideous. The pool is great. That’s where it ends. Room updates were slapped together and look appalling. Stench of garbage in the elevators and the entrance and exits to the market place. Just disgusting. Spent $7800 a week for tickets and this two star hotel parading as a four star. Disgusting.

I have stayed at many hotels in many countries and several on Disney property. But this hotel and especially the club level is the best yet. Let me start with the staff. They are all so lovely, helpful and friendly. They really make you welcome. Each and every one of them is a credit to the hotel and to Disney. We are going to miss them. The rooms are lovely. Good size, and very good facilities. And the club lounge is brilliant. It’s so good you don’t need to have a dining plan as you won’t use all the credits. There is a great breakfast, lovely food and drink throughout the day, nice tea and then for the night caps. Brilliant. And did I mention the fabulous staff on Level 5… As for location it’s literally 800 metres from Epcot - a simple few minutes walk. If you are thinking of a hotel on Disney property then Disney Beach Club is excellent. If you are an employee of the hotel reading this then Thank You for making our stay special. If you are the staff on the Club Level - 5th floor - then you are all incredible and have made our holiday fantastic. A deep warm thanks. And if you are the management at Disney then you should be proud of Beach Club and the team you have developed. Well done David and Lyn

This is our first time venturing away from Coronado Springs which has been our favourite Disney hotel. From the outside the beach club looks amazing and this carried through to the lobby. We were allocate a room on the second floor above the lobby atrium, I assume these were the old hospitality suites. The room was very large with a huge king size bed at one end, sofa, chair, TV centre with fridge and cupboards. A vanity desk the housed the hospitality tray and keurig coffee machine. Beyond that is the wardrobe and sinks and a door to the toilet bath/shower. The size of the room was quite impressive… but, be aware the noise from the lobby below can be heard in the rooms, especially in the morning with guest rolling cases around and kids screaming. It was evident that the rooms had recently received an update so they were maintained to a high standard, bed linen and pillows were perfect, plenty of towels and lovely toiletries. Housekeeping on the whole was good but they obviously didn’t dust or sweep the floor often and this was a big letdown. The marketplace is the quick service and whilst it was okay it didn’t offer a huge variety or any real place to sit down and eat, when you compare to what the Coronado Springs offer I would have expected more from a deluxe resort. The two quiet pools are a godsend to escape children and it would be nice if Disney operated an adult pool. We will definitely be back as we really enjoyed how close to Epcot and Hollywood studios the resort is.
