My goodness..... I cannot rave about this beautiful hotel enough!!!! Photos on their website do not do it justice. Will be my go-to whenever I am visiting Hobart. I stayed in the Mabel Hookey room and the view, to be able to lay in bed and watch 1st light and sunrise with a cuppa was the icing on the cake! Every attention to detail has been thought out from the afternoon tea to the blues/ jazz music played softly throughout the common spaces, especially while enjoying a wine in front of the gas heater in the sitting area.

Brilliant location in Battery Point. Beautifully appointed accommodation . Ash is a wonderful host who was easy to reach out to and went above and beyond to assist us with an extra emergency night due to airline strike issue. Absolutely loved having the use of Kitchen , dining, and lounge access. Beautiful water views from our bedroom and dining room . We didnt want to leave. Great breakfast and fabulous baked afternoon tea each day.

Such a lovely property… a small, boutique place, but truly delightful. A well-maintained heritage building, with comfortable rooms and great views from the dining room. Ash looked after us very well. I would certainly recommend this small hotel to anyone who wants to avoid the blandness of a large, modern hotel.

Stayed here for 8 nights and loved every minute of it. Better than any 5 star hotel we've ever stayed in. It was a joy to come back to this accommodation after long days of exploring Hobart and surrounds. Very high quality interior done with incredible taste. Extremely warm, comfortable and relaxing. Kitchen and dining areas were stunning with a larder stocked with delicious breakfast items and very tasty afternoon treats. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back.

This is a really unique hotel, nice not to stay in the same oh cookie cutter hotel experience, beautiful furnishings, smells lovely, nice jazz playing. My only comment would be for anyone with mobility issues the stairs to downstairs are steep. Also probably best for those with a car if walking steep streets is an issue. Personally I loved the location, close to restaurants and not far from Salamanca.

That was our best accommodation after 6 weeks in Australia! By far better then Ritz (Perth), Four Seasons (Sydney) and The Langham (Melbourne)!

We absolutely loved our stay! Peaceful, small number of rooms and a well appointed and stocked kitchen available for breakfast and afternoon tea. The entire place is beautifully decorated and really makes you feel at home. Check in and check out was so easy with the drop box, and our room was ready an early without us even asking. Highly recommend!!!
