L'hotel era bello. Ci siamo arrivati venerdì sera quando c'era un grande evento in casa. L'iscrizione era veloce e facile. Le camere erano pulite un po' calde. Fortunatamente, avevamo un fan nella stanza. Le letti erano molto confortevoli. Il pranzo al ristorante era ok, niente di adorabile, ma buono per il prezzo. Tuttavia, il personale ha una grande necessità di formazione. Non una sola cameriera/guardiana poteva sorridere. Parlavano molto velocemente e sconvolti e dovevamo indurli a tornare per ordinare ulteriori ordini. Quando ordinammo la fattura, qualcosa andava male con la carta e si sono appena spostati, ma non potevano capire, e dopo dieci minuti non ci hanno ancora ripreso, quindi dovevamo catturarli al bar per chiarire cosa è successo. La carta è stata respinta e non hanno fatto alcun sforzo per farci sapere. Ciò ci ha lasciato con un sentimento molto strano. Il colazione era la stessa, il personale non poteva sorridere o almeno guardare amico. Tutto sembrava vergognare che dovessero lavorare, non sono certo perché lo facciano, perché trattano tutti gli ospiti allo stesso modo. La mattina dopo, ci sedevamo nella zona del colazione, con il sole ci avvicinava, e li chiesemo di tirare giù i ciechi, ma ci dissero che erano solo una facciata. Il buffet per colazione era molto povero: sacchetti di cereali Kellogs (i piccoli) 3 banane, 2 vecchie mele e alcune uve.

I had an amazing stay! Mrs. Whitelaw is so sweet and always ready to help! The room was super clean and very nice for the price. There was a very nice complimentary breakfast as well with fruits, yogurts, various cereals, and more. She also has the sweetest dog and was so happy to see her! Also, felt totally safe as a solo female traveler and was a quick 20-30 min taxi ride to the Edinburgh airport.

Le camere dell'hotel sono state aggiornate, non mi piacerebbe rimettermi all'hotel perché le camere sono molto basilari per un 4*, e non c'è nessuna sicurezza nella camera.
La zona del ristorante è bella, la zona del bar può essere dotata di un incendio aperto, che sarebbe in linea con la proprietà e, a causa della posizione del bar può essere piuttosto freddo.
Ho trovato difficile usare i serbatoi, non ci sono istruzioni per usarli, solo nella zona di accoglienza; ho chiesto a qualcuno di mostrarmi, ma sembravano troppo occupati, quindi ho chiesto ad un altro cliente di aiutarmi.

L'hotel in sé è fantastico per il prezzo. La piscina è favolosa e non è necessaria la prenotazione. Parcheggio gratuito che è anche un bonus. Anche la colazione era ottima. L'unico inconveniente direi che i prezzi di cibo e bevande sono molto alti nel ristorante e nel bar per quello che effettivamente ottieni. Ci tornerei sicuramente però. Il personale è eccezionale.
