It includes a living room (flat-screen Tv) and dining room (table for 12), a fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven and microwave, a laundry room with washing machine, five bedrooms, including a very large attic room with private sitting area, two shower rooms and a mezzanine reading area. The terrace is south-facing, and there's also a barbecue.
There is a parking for 3 cars in front of the house.
Please note: the basic price does not include bed linen or towels, to keep the price within everyone's reach. However, it is possible to rent bed linen (beds made up on arrival) at a cost of 12 Eur per person, to be paid directly to the owner, and bath towels at a cost of 8 Eur per person. Comforters and pillows are provided.
There are many walks and bike rides to the Nisramont dam, for example, or even down to La Roche-en-Ardenne through the woods.
There are lots of things to do in La Roche, starting with a visit to the feudal castle.
La Roche-en-Ardenne is surrounded by towns, each one greener than the last. Houffalize, for example, a town par excellence in bloom, is part of the Parc naturel des deux Ourthes. The surrounding area also boasts a rich heritage, including the Château de Tavigny and the church of Sainte-Catherine.
Bastogne is 28 kilometers from the B&b. The Bastogne War Museum is particularly interesting for young and old alike: it retraces the events of the Second World War through interactive exhibits and re-enactments.
