很完美的酒店，cavendish 家族的產業並經營。餐食很好，2020年的米其林，食材是自己的供應渠道。早餐豐盛。步行30分鐘可達Chatsworth House，這個季節，如果你不怕風吹的話。一路滿眼草坪和🐑，如果你看過“傲慢與偏見”，這裡是必須來的地方。

A fabulous location on the boarders of Chatsworth, recently renovated with a homely decor and eclectic mix of art and furnishings. Unfortunately our evening was spoilt by a rushed service from both sommelier who although knowledgeable was too busy to engage. The waitress argumentative and cold when told about a dish that arrived when my wife had finished her meal. No apology . We were celebrating coming back to the uk after years as expats as well as our anniversary of which no mention. However the food is perfectly cooked the menu focused and the wine cellar a good spectrum for all tastes. We give the benefit of the doubt but would ask for the service to be at the right level and ensure customers paid attention to, we left in silence no one to bid farewell

From the warm welcome, to the contemporary country styled bedrooms with comfy beds to the incredible food and magnificent staff, this is one hotel you’ll be sad to leave. Relaxed, friendly, stylish and supremely comfortable, this is an authentic country house hotel where you are made to feel right at home. Particular thanks to the kitchen brigade for the utterly delicious food. Enjoy the glorious Peak District scenery and nearby Chatsworth, explore caverns and the Buxton Opera House. Just a lovely experience.

We are staying at the Devonshire Arms at Pilsley which is wonderful and our meal last night was fabulous. This evening we dined at the Cavendish Hotel in the Gallery restaurant. The service was absolutely terrible, the Sommelier brought a venison starter and described it as the beetroot starter. The waitress collected one of our parties plates before we had all finished and the wait between courses was ridiculous. We left as soon as we could; very unimpressed. There seemed to be a total lock of organisation or professionalism.

We stayed for 2 nights on the Chatsworth Experience package - 2 nights, dinner on first night, breakfast and tickets to Chatsworth House. The hotel location was perfect, located in the centre of the village of Baslow and a short walk to Chatsworth House. The hotel has been decorated to a high standard, with interesting artwork and beautiful decor. The food was very good and service was excellent. Staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Access to house, gardens etc were included and we could visit as many times as we wanted during the stay. Chatsworth House is well worth a visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I've just booked a family Christmas dinner for 11 people at the Cavendish hotel in Baslow, I told them only 10 will be eating because my youngest son is Autistic and only eats certain food so we would have to bring him some sandwiches. So they took £110 off my card. 10 minutes later I get a call back saying they won't allow anyone to bring there their own food in. I said do you have wheelchair access for people with disabilities and they said yes. I said so why can't a child with Autistic disabilities bring his 2 beef paste cobs as he won't eat anything you've got in your kitchen. She said my boss says its against company policy. My money just arrived back.

We booked the kitchen table to celebrate a first wedding anniversary. The service from the chefs was outstanding, and the FOH staff were lovely on our arrival too. Massive thank you to the chefs, Joe, Joe, Michal and Charlie for organising our menu and for having amazing presentation and descriptions of the food. The chefs worked as a team, well organised and well knit with lots of banter between themselves. It was lovely for the rest of the party to be able to see what it's like behind the scenes as no one apart from myself had worked in or seen a kitchen environment before. Amazing experience on the kitchen table, highly recommend for parties of 4. Thank you all

We were looking for a classy intimate hotel to hold our lunchtime wedding in September. Just a small affair for close family and friends and so we chose the Cavendish Hotel at Baslow and it was a great choice. The location and surroundings are beautiful and everything went like clockwork with Adam orchestrating the wedding itself and the lunch afterwards. We were blessed with good weather and so it was a perfect day for us and all our guests. I would certainly recommend this venue for lunch or dinner or a romantic stay close to beautiful walks and scenery or in our case a wedding. Thanks to all the staff but especially Adam for making it such a special day.

I'll leave another review as my last one was taken down ..
