"Stayed here while undertaking a weekend course in Basingstoke. Room was large for a single room, bed was comfortable, and everything was clean. Food in the pub was great and excellent value!"

"Good location close to M3/A303. Friendly and polite reception staff. Room was very clean with all expected amenities. BUT, I would not stay here again as the rooms are very close together so I was plagued by noise all night, even after midnight. Doors banging, a baby crying in the room next door. These noises were probably unavoidable, but my room backed into the pub courtyard and there were people talking at the tables outside, again, this was after midnight - why?? I wouldn’t have expected any pub noise at all after 11. I was travelling for work and had an early start so this was a poor stay for me."

"La stanza che avevamo, 224, aveva tutto quello che avevamo bisogno, ma era molto piccola. Il personale era molto benvenuto, e la signora alla reception ci ha riconosciuti dalla nostra precedente visita. Il servizio nel ristorante era buono, come il cibo. È un hotel occupato e ha avuto un po'di rumore sabato sera, perchè c'era una festa di compleanno, quindi è stato abbastanza giusto, ma il rumore dalla zona di cortile è andato avanti fino a molto tardi. In generale, è un bel hotel per un breve soggiorno, siamo visitatori regolari nella zona e dipende principalmente dal prezzo dove prenotiamo."

"L'esperienza generale di soggiorno, l'infrastruttura della stanza è completa e i letti sono puliti. Ma il problema principale è che l'effetto di isolamento sonoro è molto negativo. Durante il soggiorno, i residenti al piano di sopra sono molto mutati. Il rumore di camminare e di trascinare mobili è sentito bene. Anche la mezzanotte ha continuato a rumore. Ha avuto un grave effetto sul riposo, molto inamichevole per le persone che dormono. Se il prossimo miglioramento del problema dell'isolamento acustico sarà molto migliore."

"The hotel could benefit from a refurbishment, area of the hotel and room we were staying looked dated. Corridor definitely had a weird smell, like damp or previously from smokers, maybe the room also. Breakfast was ok, nothing special, would have loved to have seen some extra options, like pancakes and waffles. One friend ended up waiting about 8 minutes for a fried egg. Bar was ok, first time ended up waiting nearly 10 minutes for someone to actually start servicing customers, no staff working behind there at the time. Overall ok, location ok, walkable into town."

"Breakfast at the weekend doesn't start until 8.00am. We were playing a Pickleball Tournament on their Acrylic tennis courts and needed to digest our food before running around! The hot items weren't all out which was irritating. Bacon, sausages and eggs were missing. As soon as the eggs arrived they were gone because everyone was queuing. If it says breakfast starts at 8.00, then it should all be available on time! Pools are great, (one specifically for children and one for adults. Sporting facility was excellent. Free parking for hotel guests. Bedroom was very clean and had everything one needed. No air con, but fan in cupboard. Magnifying mirror, iron & board, hairdryer. I had to stay at the hotel to continue playing my tournament, but wanted to have a last swim to ease my muscles before driving home in a terrible heatwave. They said check out had been at 11.00am and I would have to pay £10! I thought that was rather steep so declined. There was hardly anyone in the pool and a small kind gesture after paying for 2 nights would have lifted my spirits and given a better impression. The pool was also only open from 8.00am. Far too late if people want a swim before breakfast. Dogs seem to be allowed at the hotel in the bedrooms. 4 yapping dogs in one room is a bit much. Awful for the cleaners and I put the TV on to mask the noise! Drinks and food quite expensive. Great Indian in the village! It was great though being able to stay at the actual venue for the tournament. Cheaper through Trip com than the Tournament offer rate!"
