Hotel in zona National Archives of Australia, Barton

Just returned from a 2 night stay in a 2 bedroom apartment. Our room had 2 king size beds in two separate bedrooms both with televisions, bathroom, with shower/toilet and plenty of storage, lounge room, with lounge and 2 single seats, dining area with table and 2 seats, a washer/dryer combo and a well equipped kitchen with plenty of storage throughout the unit. Our dryer wouldn’t work and despite 2 people looking at it, no one could get it to dry. This was inconvenient as we had planned on being able to wash and dry clothes and towels. The TV in the bedroom with the window also didn’t work. We tried a different remote that turned it on but still said no signal. We advised reception on checkout and we’re told it would be passed on. As a regular Accor customer, I would have thought a discount might have been appropriate having pain $600 for two nights. Parking is also an addition $25/ day. Our wifi cut off in the morning before checkout time which I also found strange. Checkout was by 10am and at 630am, no wifi. The hotel is in a great location. There is no where to park and check in so I had to double park which was obviously not ideal. The lobby is also very small. The hotel was very clean and everyone we came into contact with was very helpful and friendly. We also didn’t get our room service, which again reception were advised about. The security thing you tap for entry to car park is on the passenger side which is difficult when you are in the car on your own! All these small issues aside, we had a great stay.

Ho visto le recensioni e non mi aspettavo molto. Mi sono sorpreso di essere onesta. La ricezione era utile, il check-in era veloce e facile. La nostra stanza era pulita, ben attrezzata e il letto, bella e morbido e abbiamo avuto le migliori notti di sonno. L'unica influenza era la toletta della zona comune, che era disgustosa, ma che è a discapito di persone sporche.

A perfect hotel for a quick stop over in Canberra. Only a few minutes from the highway making easy access to get back to our trip. On arrival we had a lovely warm welcome, the receptionist provided exceptional service. We stayed in room 218, over looking the pool. It was a one bedroom, the living and bedroom both had tvs. Reverse cycle a/c in both rooms. Bed was very comfy and soft. Coffee and tea amenities, with complimentarily cookies! The rooms and bathroom were very clean. Shower pressure was wonderful. Toiletries were a nice touch. The other reviews mention this hotel being more a motel, I don't think that. For the price it was perfect. The only sore point was parking, we arrived late and there was only two car spots left. It is free parking though! We would stay here again for a quick over nighter in the ACT

Location is very good. It locates at Dickson which is a very convenient place. Many restaurants are located around 5 minutes drive from the hotel. The condition of the rooms are acceptable and it's quite quiet at night. The front desk is helpful. Car park is located at B1 of the hotel which cost $15 per night. Street parking will be available opposite to the hotel but it's full at long weekend. Overall, it's a good choice.

My reception by Naveen and Dorg was cheerful and helpful; they provided clear and good info regarding the hotel, parking, breakfast and meals in the adjoining Labour Club, etc. Our room on the top 9th floor had a good view towards the Lake Ginninderra, although another high rise had partially blocked the view. Our room was an end room, a more spacious upgrade offered to us by Naveen. It was very clean- every nook and cranny- compliments to housekeeping. It was also nice and bright, as was the bathroom. Decor is very modern and up to date. Bed was comfortable and we had good sleeps. The hot breakfast in the Club was of good quality and variety and good value. Parking on level3 and level4 of the carpark was easily accessible.

L'hotel è molto buono, siamo stati per due mesi. La vita di Gungahlin è molto comoda, nelle vicinanze Coles, Aldi, Woolworths, Bunning Warehouse, Kmart, supermercato BigW, lo shopping è conveniente. C'è anche una metropolitana leggera e un comodo trasporto. C'è anche un lago con anatre, cigni neri e uno splendido scenario naturale. Adoro Gungahlin qui. Ho dovuto partecipare a un funerale a Canberra e un amico ha raccomandato questo YMCA (Leumeah Lodge) in suburbano di Nicholls, conveniente a quel lato della città fuori Barton Highway. Questo alloggio è molto nuovo. Se il tuo GPS è vecchio, allora il n. 48 non è su di esso! Si trova al contrario di McDonalds e dietro KFC. E' bellissimo, senza spot, ben progettato con personale accogliente e molto utile. Ci sono 58 (differenti) e tutte le camere non fumatori, le camere più adatte, tra cui le camere a letto a fondo usate dai gruppi scolastici. In un solo posto, ho scelto la ”Reina” perfettamente adatta per un paio di persone - la camera, il bagno e la doccia tutti spaziosi, con i bagni e il secchio per capelli forniti; il letto matrimoniale era molto comodo. Condizionamento d'aria e WiFi disponibile con TV, sacchetti da tè/caffee e caldaia. È possibile ordinare una Cassa colazione la notte prima della ricezione. Parcheggio disponibile. Questo Lodge è molto superiore a molti hotel che ho soggiornato e il costo molto meno! È stato fantasticamente tranquillo per notte (giovedì).
