Buttonwood Inn on Mount Surprise

It was our 4th stay at the inn and as always, we had a wonderful time. Relaxing and enjoying the solitude of Mt Surprise in the winter. Donna and Doug were great hosts and truly enjoyed their delicious breakfasts each morning. Gwen and I wish you the best at the Inn and look forward to staying with you again.

We highly recommend the Buttonwood Inn. The owners were so accommodating and welcoming, and the atmosphere was truly relaxing. Delicious breakfast each morning added to the wonderful experience. We would definitely return if we travel to the area again.

Where to start? This is just the most wonderful place to stay. From the very comfortable bedrooms complete with cozy fires to the amazing home cooked breakfasts the warm and friendly owners Donna and Doug made sure that we had a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them and their B and B has so many facilities that make it feel like a home from home. Superbly located in North Conway with easy access to the Kancamagus Highway and the White Mountains we can’t recommend this place enough.

Very enjoyable stay in a beautiful location. Doug and Donna made for extremely friendly & hospitable hosts, and provided creative breakfasts and cookies. Our room was both comfortable & clean and we really appreciated the use of the outdoor pool and hot tub.

Warm and friendly hosts; cleanliness every corner; refreshed furniture and elegant decor in a country cottage; good breakfast with clean and fresh local ingredients; quiet and peaceful. Wish we could've stayed longer! Donna and Doug have done a beautiful job in bringing a breath of fresh air into what was already a lovely place.

Doug and Donna are the most helpful and accommodating innkeepers I have ever met. The inn is beautiful, clean, and so well run because they are both so competent and nice. They were there to answer any questions we had about local attractions and they also made us a bagged breakfast to take with us on the morning we needed to head out early. (which was above and beyond what I expected.) Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The inn has a lot of land with a nice view of woods and mountains, a garden, a pool, and many gorgeous places to sit and hang out inside or outside. Plus they have a very sweet dog who will poke her head up and say hi when you are checking in. She is so sweet and well behaved and she adds to the friendly atmosphere. My daughter and I absolutely loved our time there. Thank you.
