in one word excellent , lots of hotels don't have half your standard . Service is excellent from time of arrival till departure . Ladies from the staff are very friendly and helpful .

The 0ne night stay over was very comfortable and pleasant. Staff all round was very friendly and the host did so far a very good job in upgrading the Lodge.The breakfast very enjoyable.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a lovely small town. Good services, kind staff and wheelchair-friendly. Nice restaurant, however all places around closing early when there is no customer available!!!

The hotel is recently refurbished and very stylish. Our chic bedroom was large with a good bathroom and was well equipped and very clean. Owners and Staff are all friendly and helpful. Breakfast served outside was very good and service there was quick and friendly. As the restaurant was closed we ate in the bar of the Karoo Art Hotel which was excellent. 2 mins drive along R62 , west of the hotel is Barrydale Weavers. This is a must visit as local craftspeople weave wonderful products here, which you can buy.

Driving from PE to Cape Town on the R62 is such a pleasure compared to the busy N2. Stopping for a night in Barrydale Karoo Lodge was a real treat. Service / breakfast / check in / comfort / cleanliness was top class. Well done Eugene.

The lodge has recently been taken over and fully revamped, and artistically furnished. We were welcomed by one of the owners, comfortably settled in, and nothing was too much trouble. The location is fantastic, and the breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay there again and pass on to our traveling friends our very pleasant experience.
