A friend and I were doing a gratitude road trip and stumbled across this magnificent spot. Highly highly recommended. Eugene and Manfred made us feel like part of the family. Was one of the highlights of our trip. Barrydale is fabulous and this spot made it even more beautiful. Thanks for making our adventure special. Staff, bed, facilities and food were all awesome. 10/10

We can highly recommend this establishment. Since we parked outside we experienced ultimate hospitality from all the staff as well as the owner. This hotel is so neat and clean and beautifully decorated. Attention to every little detail in the room and bathroom as well. Breakfast is very nice and overall food on the menu very tasty and extremely reasonably priced. Will visit them again.

Barrydale is a interesting place to see Tradouw pass is a must Barrydale Karoo Lodge made us feel welcome and the staff was very helpful and pleasant

I believe that under new management and refurbishment, the attention to detail and personal assistance was caring and great. Very Comfortable and good value for money. If I had to change one thing be to ensure a bath and shower and if the shower alone ensure it is high pressure rather than sprinkles

This was a fantastic small hotel for a stopover between Cape Town and Knysna. Has a unique charm about it.
