Travelodge Barrow in Furness

Very nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and friendly.

I had an excellent stay at Travelodge Barrow-in-Furness. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the room was comfortable, and the bed provided a great night’s sleep. The team on reception were welcoming and helpful, making check-in and check-out quick and easy. The location is convenient for exploring the town and nearby attractions, and parking was straightforward. Overall, a great value stay – I would definitely recommend and return.

Me and the girlfriend stopped for one night due to being up for a family charity event. The room was spotless very clean and tidy with plenty of space the room contained a little kettle with the basics a couple of tea bags sugers milk but had to fill the kettle using the sink in the bath room. There was a fairly small Tv with all the free view channels it could possibly of been bigger but we found due to the distance between the bed and the tv it could of been made to feel smaller than what it was and found trying to watch match of the day highlights difficult cause couldn’t really see what was happening but that could say more about my eyesight than the telly although I did feel the tv was small for the size of room we had. The only thing we felt could be improved was the shower facilities, it was a bath and shower combination which is fine but while we was showering the shower curtain would stick to you there was very little room to be able wash also felt that the shower head wasn’t quiet sufficient enough couldn’t really get “ underneath” I also noticed it was like the water stream was “ pulsing “ like it would repeatedly lost power the only other issue I found and once again it is most likely more my fault than the hotels was we paid for the breakfast in the morning but was only a breakfast to go box which would of contained a muffin cereal a juice and some milk didn’t realise this when I made the booking and we end up not bothering with that and going to the brewers fayre round the corner for there unlimited breakfast buffet ( would recommend that ) but over all very clean and tidy hotel with large rooms staff very friendly and super easy to find and plenty of parking spaces only thing that let’s it down is the shower and if I am being super fussy the tv size but that is simply preference the TV worked perfectly fine just felt small to us
