Kentisbury Mill was amazing! The owner Derek who lives next door is very friendly and adds a lot of character to the place but won't bug you and knock on your door every five seconds but he is happy to help! The house is lovely, the beds comfy and the living room is great to be in especially with the fire on! There is a public bridleway next to the garden running through the property but it is rarely used and when it is it is just horses, just see it as an opportunity to see horses! The garden is my favourite place, it is 2 acres and has a stream on three sides of the garden which is very relaxing. There are also 2 ponds and in the bigger one if you are lucky, you can see many types of fish and some ducks from time to time. The garden is lovely and tranquil and bursting with nature! Derek will even provide you with a barbecue if you would like one although you will have to bring your own coal. About 300 yards down the road running along the back of the garden there is the village hall and near that is a park suitable for younger children. A signal is hard to get in KM but if you stand in specific areas such as the car parking area, the village hall, the old station inn (a restaurant about half a mile away). One final note, the place is very family friendly and even has a few games there to play! Children may need supervising depending on there age in the garden as there are water features but overall, very family friendly!
