Lirolay Suites - Apart Hotel

We went to Bariloche and stayed at Lirolay Suites on the recommendation of our son and his wife who stayed there a few years ago. We couldn’t have been happier! Service was great, the room was very nice- great to have a lot of room to spread out and to have the kitchenette. Most of all, the views were incredible! Every time we walked into the room, we said “wow!!” We were on the top corner to the far left as you face the building which they told us it has the best view. It was nice to have parking although it’s tight to get in and out. We didn’t use the pool or beach, but others were enjoying them. We ordered room service one night- service was quick and food was good. I highly recommend Lirolay and will stay there again if on the area.

The property is beautiful and we were welcomed by the staff. A stunning view from our room of the lake and easy access to a small beach area. The property is some 5 klms out of town in a quiet area . Room service was lovely. We had booked this accommodation for 3 nights and unfortunately due to missing a bus and being unable to arrive on time we only ended up staying one night. We understand the policy but felt it was unfair to be charged for the full 3 nights when no linen, water, cleaning or heating were used for 2. We would have appreciated at least a small discount.

I couldn't have wished for a more wonderful first visit, both to Argentina, and to San Carlos de Bariloche. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the captivating beauty of the majestic Andes mountains, and the pristine waters of Nahuel Haupi. When I first arrived, Alejandro was very kind and informative, helping me with my luggage, and offering me fresh baked treats and juice, while informing me of the many things I could experience, both in town, and the beautiful natural surroundings nearby. My cozy suite, complete with an ornate old world brass key, was plush and comfortable, including a fully stocked kitchen, living room with pretty lake views, and a bathroom complete with a jacuzzi tub, rainfall shower, and even a french bedit. Rustic charm with every amenity. The Lirolay, itself, feels like a place right out of a fairy tale, adorned with hand carved cedar and slate, inviting you to enjoy sweeping views of the mountains and lake beyond. Later, during my stay, on a day when the winds and rain changed my hiking plans, Agustin was there to provide me with room service, that made for a nice relaxing afternoon indoors. Everyone at the Lirolay was so kind, including the lovely cat that lounges inside the office and would greet me home after a long day out exploring! I've heard tale, that he is secretly the boss. *wink* Bariloche has so much to offer, with its many amazing restaurants, and its world famous chocolates and ice cream, to hiking to see the cinnamon colored Arrayanes trees, and sharing some delicious roadside empanadas with a crested caracara in the park. I think it may have been said best, when a local mentioned to me, "It feels like being in another world." Bariloche truly is a magical and awe inspiring place that will take your breath away. I recommend the Lirolay to anyone wanting to experience the very best of what Bariloche has to offer. The incredible caring of the managers and relaxing ambiance it provides during your stay are second to none.

Had a wonderful stay all around. Staff were helpful and friendly. Grounds were truly breathtaking. We stayed in the Suite wirh jacuzzi overlooking the lake. Worth it!! We even had a visit from some gorgeous hawks who shared breakfast with us. :) Thank you for wonderful memories of our time in Argentina.

What a charming and beautiful apartment suites. The property is stunning, unobstructed lake views, gated property, private beach, en-suite jacuzzi tub, pool, fire place, kitchenette, and convenient location. The suites offer everything you need to feel at home. The staff is very hospitable and briskly responsive to questions and requests. Alejandro spoke excellent English and went above and beyond by taking the time to help us trip plan our visit in Bariloche and surrounding cities. Agustin in the evening was very thoughtful and helpful to take care of our questions and requests for some in-house services. Wonderful team! Lirolay has some great room service amenities for in suite breakfast, snacks, meals and drinks. There was a pretty nice wine list with bottles to purchase for a cozy night in with fire wood. We didn’t have much time to enjoy a full body massage but what a perfect place to have one. It is located near some beautiful and walkable restaurants and stores. We clearly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back in the future. Thank you for having us and your excellent hospitality.

We were blown away by every part of our experience at the Lirolay. For the cost we paid, we expected a decent destination hotel. Lirolay exceeded this in every way. We cannot recommend it enough and will be eager to stay here on our next visit to Bariloche. A few highlights: The Team Alejandro, Augustin, and the whole team went out of their way to make our experience comfortable and to help us get the most value out of our trip. When we arrived earlier in the day than we expected, Alejandro helped us plan out a jam-packed experience, recommending a nearby hike and connecting us with a great driver to show us around the area. Later in our trip a guide for a pre-planned full day hike canceled last minute. Augustin swooped in and connected us with an experienced guide, saving this part of the trip for us. Throughout the stay, the clearly busy team took the time to make us feel welcome and show us around their home. Their passion for Bariloche was infectious and their hospitality made such a difference. The Accommodations The property is very pretty and the views are breathtaking. We stayed in a suite with a sweeping view of the lake and the mountains from our jacuzzi. The suite was well-furnished and was a great place to come home to at the end of a long day. Food We ordered room service a handful of times. It was prompt and the food was good. Even better were the breakfasts the team whipped up as we ran out the door to start our day, despite us having only asked for them last minute.
