Lovely afternoon with close friends, made even better by the lovely food. The Mediterranean sea bass was so tasty and and an absolute bargain at £10. The first time I have seen baked Alaska on a menu and it worked well. With so much choice on the menu there'll be something for everyone. We'll be back!

What a great place to stay for a couple of days we stayed as a large group for a family birthday do in town . Every request was met rooms were nice and quiet and clean and beds comfortable . We will definitely stay at next visit. Sorry I forgot the manageress name but she was so fantastic and helpful as were her team in the pub / restaurant it’s self

It must be at least my fifth visit to this hotel. I've always had a pleasant stay, but unfortunately, the hotel section has gone downhill. Firsty the carpark is so damaged pot holes etc I damaged my car which is quite low. Check-in is in the pub and had to wait a long time to be seen. The room was clean. However, we were woken more than 7 times by a radiator in the room that would randomly grumble. Very loud indeed. If you got out of bed and tapped it, it stopped. Definitely needs looking at. The food in pub however was very nice indeed. However, a glass of processco should be a glass flute, in my opinion, and not half a flute?? When I questioned this, they said you only get 125ml

I was away on a business contract and stayed at the Charnwood Arms Hotel for 2 months. A comfortable bed with en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. The staff are fantastic and are always willing to help and make my stay as great as possible. The Hungry Horse pub attached to the hotel is the same with the staff. One couldn't ask for better treatment. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will miss the team. I was sad to have to leave when my contract ended. Thank you ALL. x

When in for breakfast with friends very good experience from the lady that served me Debbie very friendly and happy couldn’t do enough for you will definitely come again tha k you very much for all your help

I have stayed at the hotel for the last 2 weeks on a course. Every morning I have been greated with a smile and brilliant service by Debbie. I would recommend. Service on a evening is always busy but Tyler has always look after me and had a joke.
