Very practical and clean hotel. Perfectly comfortable and a nice view of the Barcelona hills from the window. The pool was nice, not a proper pool, but better that the other central Barcelona hotels I stayed at, which were tiny and very shallow. The staff were exceptionally helpful.
The breakfast was just ok but for the very cheap price of the room, I ate it as it was such good value for money . The room was a little bit clinical. I felt like I was actually back at Uni and it lacked the lovely authentic Spanish feel that I have experienced at other properties.
I did not like the area. Too business like and very quiet and the restaurants were more expensive and proper than the cheap and cheerful places I usually frequent (Spain always cheap for eating out is this is not a big deal, just personal preference). I personally would rather stay close to the beach or otherwise inland somewhere traditional and authentic.
I chose this hotel as I was working and it had air conditioning and decent WiFi. The amazing price and pool were just a bonus. Can’t complain! Only the district would put me off staying there again. No vibe!
