One bedroom with queen-sized bed, living room, one small bath with tub and shower. There is a small refrigerator & Keurig; no kitchen. Free wi-fi, but no television. A wi-fi "extender" has resolved the wi-fi problems some commenters have written about. There is a large couch which a toddler or a very young child would be comfortable sleeping on, but it is not a fold-out bed. This unit is above our garage with separate entrance via an outside staircase, please see pictures. If anyone has mobility issues, this is not the place for you! Includes access (up two steps) to a screened in balcony. We are located in the Town Hill area. BH downtown is a 15-20 minute drive from here, using the charmingly and accurately named "Crooked Road." NE and SW Harbors and Ellsworth, are also each about a 15-minute drive away. It is an easy 10-minute walk to Maine Coast Heritage Trust's "Blue Horizons" Reserve to reach the ocean, and the Blagdon Nature Reserve is a 5-minute drive. "Hummingbird Suites" is approximately one mile from the main entrance to Acadia National Park. This is an immaculate, private, one-bedroom suite with hardwood floors. There is a separate sleeping area on a futon with a very comfortable double size mattress in the living room area. If you like flowers or birds you will enjoy our gardens that are frequented by many colorful birds, especially the ruby-throated hummingbird. Rent bikes and ride the carriage roads stopping at Jordan Pond house for their famous popovers on the lawn. There are 26 Mt. Peaks to hike. You can also hop on the free Island Explorer Bus which stops directly across the street at the Narrows Campground. Hadley Point beach is located just 2 miles away. This is an excellent beach for Kayaking which you can rent right there, evening bon fires or just taking in our beautiful sunsets. Sweet Pea Cafe and winery 2 mi.
