King Solomon Hotel

We did a family event (bar mitzvah) for our child during Friday and Saturday including full board, there were about 80 guests, we booked about 30 rooms, The staff was wonderfully kind and pleasant! Starting with getting to know you and taking care of the details, Simon and the reception staff and operating the rooms, the event manager Eli Barda, the wait staff, the excellent cook that everyone has a lot of praise for !! The food is delicious and great and the guests showered compliments! The menu was wonderfully adapted to us, the atmosphere is amazing, clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable, The synagogue is well-kept and beautiful and full of feeling of holiness and beauty. We and all the guests on Saturday had a great time! We would love to recommend everyone to do many more events at this wonderful hotel, a truly wonderful and successful experience!

(+) Quite normal, well maintained hotel. A bit old but didn't notice any bad spots. Just maybe a slightly rusty lock on the balcony's door. Cozy small room with good bed and linens. There is a kettle and some tea. Different towels, soap, shampoo. Hot water came out quickly in the shower(7th floor) and there is a decent hairdryer. There was hot air conditioner in the room. It heated the room rather slowly. But kept the temperature well. In the morning we went to breakfast(from 7 to 10 o'clock). The place looks like an ordinary common dining room, but quite normal in appearance. For 3 stars, probably ok. The food... after the New Year in restaurant I had a heaviness in my stomach, so I did not taste it, but my wife and mother were satisfied. Coffee, tea, yoghurts, vegetable salads, rolls, fruits. It seems that there was something else... yes, I think for a 3-star breakfast was normal too. ...There is a small free public parking near the hotel. (-) Some minor things: Water disappeared in the morning, but they noticed this and quickly corrected themselves. There is no refrigerator. No bathrobes and slippers. No toothbrushes or toothpaste. I probably didn't like only one thing(not minor disadvantage): the open trash can in the toilet. I think it's clear why I consider this as a disadvantage.

This hotel used to be so nice - clean and well maintained with friendly staff. unfortunately this is no longer. The room was gross and had not been cleaned which even without Covid is disgusting. the shame of it is I had head things had gone down hill but chose not to believe it. unfortunately many of the staff have now left and those that remain are unbelievably rude. The hotel was not very full ( I can now see why) yet the couple of small requests we made were either ignored or took ages. We will not be returning. Considering two other hotels have recently opened in the area I don't understand why the levels have deteriorated so much :(

Je reviens d'un voyage en Israël le 8 juin dernier. J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. Je n'ai jamais vu un hôtel aussi crasseux, que ce soit au niveau des chambres, de la salle de bain, de la salle de restaurant, etc... Moisissure sur la moquette, climatiseur arraché, pommeau de douche sale, crasse dans la baignoire, etc.., etc... Les photos et les commentaires que je lis et les photos que je vois, ne correspondent vraiment pas à la réalité. Y a-t-il eu une fermeture et un changement de propriétaire. De plus, nous devions avoir un petit-déjeuner le matin de notre départ, RIEN, malgré la demande de notre guide la veille. Surtout, n'allez pas dans cet hôtel.
