Achcha Hotel - Itsaraphap Mrt Station - Wat Arun

- Price 5/5: So worth your money! We stayed 3 nights. - Room 5/5: It's a little old rustic building that they renovated adequately. They have EVERYTHING you need as a traveller. Comfortable bed, clean sheets /pillows / charging ports, wifi and most important good air conditioning in super hot Bangkok. Amenities: Plenty of towels, hangers, hanging rack, toiletries, fridge, plenty of water (2 bottles per day), TV (all Thai channels), kettle, spoons, coffee cups ) . We were lucky our neighbors were quiet. We did need to climb 3 floors, so elderly or those with huge luggage may have some difficulties. My 65 year old mom didn't find it too tough though. -En suite shower 4/5: Small but they smartly put a shower curtain between the shower, toilet and sink,. More towel hooks on the door would be good. Clean! - Service 5/5: All friendly, very nice lady manager in charge of cleaning and at reception by the coffee house but you may need google translator too ask more complex questions. We stayed 3 nights and were granted a free laundry/drying/folding service for first wash in bulk (that's amazing!) - Location 6/5: - Right behind Itsaraphap MRT (＜5 min walk) Exit 2. - If you walk front after Exit 2 for 5-10 min, good massage shop (good price too 300THB/hour minimum), a mango sticky rice shop and another food shop (nice yummy- 10 am+). - It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Wat Arun (use google maps -a must go - but go early- so many ppl when we went during sunset) a - Plenty of street food night time (Exit 1) ＞ local price compared to shopping malls. - Its so convenient as the blue MRT line is cheap compared to BTS and near landmarks. E.g. (i) Sanam Chai MRT (Access to Grand Palace) (ii) Bang Khun Non MRT (Walk 5 min) to Jaran Sanitwong train stop (not station, so just jump on the train and buy the ticket on the train) to get to Kanchanaburi/Death Railway/Bridge to River Kwai) instead of going from the more inconvenient Thonburi station.
