Bang Phli: hotel con bar

Great and friendly people.  The infrastructure needs a bit facelift.  The rooms have some faint damp and smoky smell.   Shuttle service is very convenient.  The gentleman driving the shuttle van wanted to make sure we get the door closest to our airline despite the slight language barrier.  He was also very friendly to our daughter.

I thoroughly enjoyed my one-night stay at this hotel before my day-long-haul flight back to Australia. The room was spacious and I recommend booking a room with the airport view - this was a huge plus! I sat and watched the planes, being an av geek as I am. The room was large with separate areas for the bed and the dining area and had a nice bathroom. I didn't like the shower over the bath though - just a minor thing...at my age, I could slip getting in and out of the thing! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The foyer area was magnificent! I loved the grand piano and the music provided during dinner - there was no need to go outside the hotel for drinks or food. I will sure stay there on my next trip to Thailand and avoid the chaos of Bangkok for a few nice peaceful days!

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel molte volte per il raffreddamento. Qui, alla notte dalla mia stanza, posso anche vedere un cane vicino dormire dalla finestra del bagno accanto alla bella scena dell'aeroporto di Suvarnabhumi. La mattina, la giornata è così grave che non ho potuto vedere l'aereo bersaglio atterrare sulla terza pista, anche se lo è stata la scorsa settimana. Ho affrontato la questione della luce di fondo. Ho dovuto trovare un sito alternativo per il rilevamento degli aerei. Il personale è gentile e utile per me organizzare un viaggio di taxi di ritorno al Bangkok Airways Operations Complex dove passo pochi secondi al sito di rilevamento aereo di fronte all'autostrada e riuscivo a scattare alcune foto di aeromobili volanti verso l'aeroporto per Il viaggio in giro costa 250 Baht e il concierge è utile per me tradurre in cinese il prezzo totale del taxi. Il pomeriggio non c'è luce di fondo e è facile scattare foto di aeromobili che atterrano dall'aeroporto dal tetto. Rimarrò qui se devo fare il spot a Suvarnabhumi.

Un grande posto quando come me arriverai a Bangkok tardi alla notte, dieci minuti di taxi, 70-100 THB. La stanza è buona, la piscina è solo quello che era necessario, il personale è amichevole, il servizio è buono. Molti di Thai reali in giro

Ancora una volta, come quasi ogni volta, le prestazioni sono mentite, perché non ci sono né spa, né sauna, né servizio di massaggio, ecc.. Quando per me, l'essenziale è avere queste prestazioni quando faccio voli così lunghi e ho bisogno di questo, voglio potermi fidare della descrizione fatta per viaggio. Com. In Thailandia e Vietnam, non una volta, ci sono stati questi servizi... che menti... quindi non mi importa che dopo insistenza mi licenziano qualche giro di compensazione, che non corrispondono mai al prezzo della stanza... Non uso più questo sito menti.. Tuttavia ho condiviso questo sito intorno a me, all'inizio, con rammarico..

Maybe quiet time but restaurants were not always open. It a spread out hotel. Beds ok clean but a little tired. Not much choice in this part of Bangkok. Used the new roof tol restaurant that was nice but food comes from lower floors so it is not the best on presentation. Staff were ok.

The deposit has been cashed and locked for 7 working days after the check out , sending email to the bank ! unceptable! Considering all the guests how much money with this system are they getting in interests from the bank every year ? This is not common practice and probably not legal !

The Amaranth is about 15mins away from the main BKK airport, so it’s away from Bangkok city, but perfect for a layover. I was very impressed with the kind service from reception and the concierge, the cleanliness of the room and facilities, and lovely resort-like layout of the hotel and its gardens. I certainly slept very well in the room, as the bed is comfortable and the room quiet and dark, thanks to the black-out curtains. The food at breakfast had a buffet selection of Asian and Western dishes, including fruit, cereals, pastries, egg station, pancake station, noodles, fried rice, coffee/tea, etc. For a hotel, I found the food very satisfactory. In the afternoon, I visited the Ma Spa for a 60min oil massage. It was absolutely glorious and worth every bit of the TBH 1720 (incl. tax).
