Splendid Hôtel

What a stunning property. We spent out last night here after a trip from southern Burgundy through the Rhone and into Provence. The place is just gorgeous, and the staff fantastic in all regards. I wish we had booked two or three nights at least! It is a short walk to the main town center. Gated parking is available on site.

Elegant and peaceful hotel with direct access to the beach. Room was beautiful with sea view. It really felt good being there. We did not have food there as we wanted to try the local restaurants. For the expensive price of the rooms they should not charge extra for the parking, it should be included.

Our three night stay here during the rugby world cup was wonderful. The hotel is perched in a quiet location overlooking the sea. All eleven rooms are unique - we stayed in Agate, a triple aspect junior suite. Beautiful views, super comfortable bed and all comforts. It is possible to swim in the sea direct from the hotel terrace, jelly shoes are provided and there is a unique swimming pool which is built into the basement. Breakfasts were of delicious continental style. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there are so many to choose from in Bandol.... a 10 minute stroll to the marina. I hope that we will return one day.

Absolutely incredible! This was a top notch hotel- the staff was amazing, the rosé wine overlooking the Mediterranean, and the views from our room. Bandol is a gorgeous place! This is a very special romantic establishment! It surpassed my expectations.

We loved everything about our stay here. Stayed in the Onyx room, which had a sea view that I couldn't get enough of. The private beach and solarium were a highlight, in addition to the sea view indoor pool which you could book private sessions in. Location was within a short walk of great restaurants and a Carrefour express, staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was just right. Can't wait to return!

Excellent hotel in the excellent place. The hotel is just near to the center, but yet in its own private quiet place. The view is fantastic. We've loved the building, the personnel and the beds. The latter were super comfy. The solarium area outside of the hotel was very beautiful and cozy. Everything one need for a comfortable time was there. It has private access to the sea, which makes it all even better. Nice teas are also available in gym and plenty of water for free which is a nice gesture. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but it provides lovely meals from a local restaurant. We've loved the food, quality was decent. It is not expensive too. Some observations we've had: 1. The swimming pool is really a room full of water. It is nice, but it is not the same as a normal swimming pool. 2. The spa area is not well organised. It is kinda a big room devided into two parts - gym and hammam. Because of hammam, water is everywhere. And the gym has very old machines and weird smell. Overall, even with the current not ideal layout, machines need to be replaced to a better ones, some parfumes placed everywhere and something needs to be done about water on the floor. Because at this moment, the area is not comfortable to be and does not have a relaxing vibe. 3. Some of the finishings (walls, paint, wallpapers) are not really of a good quality at this amazing place that is totally new. However, the bed was very nice and the bathroom / toilet were well organised and thought through. It is a fantastic place to stay to enjoy sun, swimming pool, privacy and views without visiting souna and swimming pool. The personnel of the hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

After innumerable trips to Europe, including over ten to France, we suddenly discovered Bandol, on the Riviera about 30 minutes from Cassis. The town is one of the best, not loud and touristy like Saint Tropez or Cannes but calm and beautiful. And the only way to fully enjoy the serenity of Bandol is to stay at the Splendid Hotel, a small but very spacious hotel of suites overlooking the sea. My wife and I stayed in the Granat suite for five nights, on the top floor with an adjoining private terrace. Within a ten minute walk of excellent restaurants and beaches, the hotel offers serenity, superb views, and an excellent breakfast. The staff, from top to bottom, provides prompt and friendly service. We would never return to the Riviera without staying at the Splendid.

Wir wurden nett empfangen und erhielten rasch den reservierten Parkplatz zugeteilt sowie Hilfe um das Gepäck ins Zimmer zu bringen. Das wunderschöne Zimmer war mit prächtiger Aussicht und das Morgenessen abwechslungsreich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Un accueil chaleureux où règne la bonne humeur, un personnel au top, avec un vrai soucis du détails. L'hôtel est bien placé, au bord de mer, du port et des restaurants. Le petit déjeuner est remarquable, avec des produits locaux et de qualités, les gâteaux sont faits maison. Les chambres sont confortables, bien agencées et d'une extrême propreté. Piscine, salle de fitness, hammam, sauna, bien être rien ne manque. Tout à était pensé pour vous faire profiter d'un séjour exceptionnel. Ne changer rien . La perfection a un nom le votre : Hôtel Splendid Bandol. A bientôt.
