Hotel in zona Bukit Lutut, Bandar Seri Begawan

Badi'ah Hotel is nothing short of superb! Large, spacious rooms with elegant/warm lighting and tasteful decor and artwork. Rooms were equipped with functional furniture such as a wall desk with a chair, 2 arm chairs, a folding luggage storage rack as well as a large cabinet for luggage storage and clothing. The room also came with an electronic safe, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee/tea making supplies (Nescafé and milk powder packets, sugar, Lipton tea), 2 glasses, 2 coffee mugs with little stir sticks and bathroom amenities such as bar soap, shampoo, body gel, 2 dental kits and a disposable bag. 2 bottles of water were also provided and were replenished each morning. The bathroom was large and clean with a large western toilet. Shower was enclosed, however, water still floods all over the bathroom floor when showering. On this point, the bathrooms could be improved. The bed was extremely comfortable, but unusually short in length. I am only 5'5” but my feet were hitting the edge of the bed. For anyone taller than 5'5”, I fear your feet may be hanging off the bed? Perhaps this was just the size of the double bed in my room, but I found this peculiar. The room also came with a flatscreen TV, with 9 channels to choose from. Limited, but fine for a few nights. Channel selections included BBC news, Discovery and also a Cinemax movie channel (all in English). There were a couple of other English channels also, but I didn't tune in to these. Channels/TV service cut in and out periodically - loss of service - unsure why, but it was manageable. Wifi signal was exceptionally strong, with a router on each floor and different floor networks to choose from. Very happy! Air conditioning in the room and ventilation both were excellent. Housekeeping was excellent and efficient! They started at a reasonable time and finished very quickly, never missing a beat and generous with replenishing used supplies and toiletries. Rooms were also very clean! There was an electronic pad inside to indicate whether you wanted your room cleaned or to be left be, which I thought was excellent design. Reception and kitchen staff were all amazing! Professional, friendly and welcoming of guests! Always opening the door for incoming and departing guests and happy to service any request with a smile! Staff were superb! My one complaint (other than the flooding shower) would be ants in the room. Unfortunately, this is in most tropical climates, and difficult to control, I understand. They are harmless, but, for sure, an annoyance. The hotel offered free airport pick-up and drop-off which was superb value and very much appreciated! The staff even waited for me despite my flight being delayed over an hour (sorry!). Location of the hotel is perfect! You can walk to all of the major tourist sights, and there are 2 major supermarkets close by, one in the complex just behind the hotel, which was very convenient (it's called First Emporium Supermarket). È stato quasi 2 anni di licenza e ora ho l'opportunità di visitare il mio marito a Brunei. Pensare sull'isolamento di sé sarà il peggior momento della mia vita che sarò da solo per almeno 7-14 giorni nella stanza dell'hotel. Così mi sono preparato per alcune attività, tra cui lavoro di ufficio ...oh caro fortuna che posso lavorare da ovunque. La stanza è molto spaziosa e pulita. Posso scegliere il mio seggio per lavoro, leggere un libro o avere un pasto. L'atmosfera accogliente nella zona di soggiorno è così rilassante. Posso vedere le viste della città dalla finestra. Parlare del cibo è fantastico! Non ho lamentele a tutti, tranne il mio peso haha ... Inoltre l'ospitalità fornita dai dipendenti è stata grande! Mi sono davvero perso i momenti. Ho fortemente raccomandato che questo hotel sia il posto migliore per restare ogni volta che visitate Brunei.

В коридорах жара, потому что кондиционеры выключены в целях экономии. В комнатах кондиционеры пришлось гонять весь день, чтобы они хоть как-то охладили воздух, еле живые. Но это еще ерунда. Самое ужасное - это кровати! Они настолько твердые, как если бы вы лежали просто на фанере. Жена хотела сбежать обратно домой уже после первой же ночи в отеле, но я уговорил ее поменяться кроватями, что, впрочем, мало помогло. В санузле одной комнаты не было горячей воды, а во второй лейка душа была повреждена и брызгала во все стороны. Сотрудник отеля позвонил ночью и предупредил, что мы забыли выключить свет в машине, я вышел и выключил, спасибо ему, иначе бы утром не завел. Парковка была все время забита, и менеджер отеля поставил нашу машину на ВИП место прямо перед входом. Повторюсь - персонал великолепный, добрые и отзывчивые люди, но сам отель очень устал. Найдите другое место, если возможно, за эту цену обычно большой выбор.

Siamo rimasti a The Empire per tutta la notte in transito in Australia. Il disastro per noi è stato il buffet colazione che aveva una vasta selezione di cibo, ma alcune delle offerte come roti, dim sum e curries erano già fredde e senza appetito di 8.00am.
