Best boutique hotel ever. Stay at craig's royal hotel Feels like you fall in into history. Every inches of the hotel is so exquisite.

來巴拉瑞特住這裏就對了，白天去淑芬山淘金小鎮，晚上回到酒店，四周走走，感覺像穿越回十九世紀，很有味道，設施雖然比不了國際大牌連鎖，但總體是另一番味道，非常值得一住

酒店的歷史十分悠久，公區和房間內的裝修都非常復古且有藝術感，有很多畫作。電梯還是古老的拉門式，住在裏面的感受很不錯，推薦！

酒店歷史悠久， 一進去就能感受到特別的文化氣息， 電梯開關門還是要用手動的，像極了電影裏的一些拍攝場景。 入住那晚，前台小哥熱情，服務周到， 解釋非常耐心和詳細， 並且説我們的護照的設計很酷， 從封面的顏色到第一頁的設計。 當晚晚餐在一樓的餐廳吃的，他們推薦的是紅咖喱魚，味道很不錯。 酒店房間乾淨整潔， 訂的單人床房， 取暖舒適， 洗手間還有熱毛巾架，很舒適。

作為一個旅行過50➕國家的行走貨，生平第一次給酒店差評。我預訂了酒店最好的皇家套房，兩晚，1，給我安排了一間底樓窗户不能打開的房間，跟他媽坐牢似的，我還不如訂一間普通單間呢，花錢買罪受；2，服務態度極差，不給打掃房間，到前台質問，説是酒店有規定，客人沒主動提出要求就不打掃。扯淡！按照慣例，客人沒有提出要求，是不換床單，怎麼可能不打掃衞生？不更換毛巾浴巾？？我們提出來後，説是馬上安排。一小時後回房間，還是沒有打掃，衹是拿了兩張乾淨的浴巾過來。擦！花錢買氣受！

墨爾本最滿意的酒店古老的電梯，小露台都好復古

My friend booked the hotel for her 60th birthday celebration and it was very good. We wined, we dined, we stayed. The room was fantastic and very spacious. The food was great. The wine glowed. I loved the lift. My only feedback is that the team need more leadership as checking in & out was cumbersome. And there are not enough of them.

The ambiance of the hotel is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail is incredible. The atmosphere is amazing. I found the restaurant expensive. I love veal scallopini however, I had always thought that it was a creamy based meal, my meal was nothing like it. It was on a bed of beans and smashed pumpkin. Aside from that, the only real letdown was the carpet wear on the stairs. Having experience in carpet, there are steps that can be taken to avoid this kind of wear. Having said all of that, I am back there in a few weeks and really look forward to staying there. The staff were super friendly without being over the top so, if you are seeking accommodation, give this hotel a crack. I was not disappointed 😊

Just so bad don’t stay here Terrible inexperienced hotel manager with no clue about customer service This hotel could be awesome but unfortunately no one cares enough. I’d certainly visit and take a look but leave it there until they change owners!!

The glorious front entrance of Craig’s promises colonial elegance. The access from the paid parking in the rear, to the hotel, ruins the experience. The rear door, like an entrance to a maintenance room, opened up to a tacky row of bright lights, glaring poker machines, with desperate gamblers tap tap tapping in the hope of some result. You have no choice, bags in hand, wheelies in tow, in a narrow space, to get past these desperates, to get to reception. Room was lovely, colonially restored, four poster bed, and lovely bathroom area. Wouldn’t recommend physically challenged people to stay here. No valet service, no help whatsoever. At dinner, $44 for a slow-cooked lamb steak, no it wasn’t, was a culinary disaster.. To be fair, my wife’s scallops were superb, Heidi and Le Page were charming, and capable waitresses. With limited breakfast, we were challenged by masonry drilling in the immediate background. Not happy! Would not recommend.

This fully renovated splendour of a Building is just magnificent. We stayed for my Birthday treat in a simple room with old school flair. Bathroom well appointed, wardrobe on one half and minibar on the other . The bed was very high and we had a lovely sleep. The bedroom was charming indeed. We had drinks in the foyer bar before dinner and breakfast the next day downstairs. Reception was fabulous and the attentive staff won our hearts.

Historic buildings are my thing and this is a gem. The presentation and maintenance are excellent right in the heart of a historic part of Ballarat. Booking was easy, arrival smooth, off-street parking no issue and any requests dealt with professionally and quickly.
