Argasoka Bungalows

Would not recommend to stay here at all. The only good thing was waking up to the monkeys, and the men staff at breakfast were so lovely! We booked a standard room on Agoda which stated it had aircon. When we got there the receptionists advised we had booked a room with a fan, we showed the confirmation etc but they didn’t seem to care, just said we had to pay extra for air con. We looked at the standard room but it was not good at all, the front door was locked with a simple padlock and there was a gap underneath the door which all the bugs were getting in through. It was clear we were unhappy but they didn’t offer us anything even though they had a spare deluxe room available. We decided to pay for the upgrade and the room was better but not by much. Ants all over the floor and lizards in the room made us feel uncomfortable to sleep at night. The Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, the sink leaked, room smelt of mould, stained towels (didn’t get new towels in the 4 nights we stayed), lighting hardly worked, dead bugs all over the walls. No tea/coffee or complimentary water. I’ve left this place covered in about 15 mosquito bites (been travelling Asia for 3 months and this is by far the worst) This place has potential to be really nice if they cared for the rooms as the gardens are lovely, just seems the owners do not read reviews or care about improving.

The hotel is conveniently located in Jalan Monkey Forrest Road. The gardens are beautiful and well kept. Breakfast is good and considering it is included in the price it is great value. Most rooms are on two levels in blocks of four rooms. For rooms away from the road there are steps that are quite steep in places and mostly unlit at night. This review is for Superior rooms. I had two rooms booked. The Superior rooms are advertised as non smoking but the room I had was a smoking room. Non smokers need to ensure they have a non smoking room. On the day I arrived the housekeeping left a lot to be desired, the rubbish bin had not been emptied and there was no toilet roll, tea room had not been cleaned very well. The room was advertised with the following included, tea/coffee making, sofa, additional toilet, none of which were provided. I did managed to get tea/coffee making facilities for one of the rooms after complaining. The most annoying fault was that there was a leak somewhere in the bathroom that kept a constant pool of water on the floor.

Мы продлили проживание несколько раз в этом месте ❤️🌟 Обезьянки чудесные, наблюдать за ними удовольствие 🤩 Очень ухоженная территория, отличный бассейн, номер у нас делюкс, в номере все отлично, новый чайник, телевизор, постельное белоснежное 😍 чистота 🧼 в общем ! Интернет работает хорошо 👌🏼 рядом есть всё! Мы довольны 😊

No volveré a este hotel JAMÁS. Aunque reservamos con tiempo, al llegar no teníamos la habitación que había solicitado y nos metieron (era muy tarde para buscar otra cosa) en un auténtico agujero, ruidoso, sucio y de olor desagradable. Al día siguiente nos cambiaron, pero aunque es cierto que la situación mejoró, en mi opinión, las prestaciones de la habitación eran lamentables
