What a wonderful stay we’ve had. A hidden gem in the hussle and bussle of Ubud but everything close by and walkable. You pass through their beautiful private temple and lush garden to get to the bungalows. Very clean and spacious with 2 balconies and comfy bed and bathroom. A nice size pool. Delicious breakfast with alot of choice that you order the night before. The staff is so nice and hospitable. I had my birthday on departure day and they made me a lovely birthday-cake and sang for me.

We spent a wonderful 5 nights at Gunung Merta bungalows. The staff were so friendly. The rooms are large and with a big balcony, overlooking the forest. There is a pool and a few loungers for the days you want to relax and read. Breakfast is wide ranging and you order it the night before. Nearby are lots of good cafes and restaurants and special mention to Delta cafe across the road. Excellent food, coffee, and pastries.

Experienced a very warm reception from the entire family and staff present at Gunung Merta Bungalows at Ubud which made our comfortable stay and Ubud even better which made us look forward to return to the hotel end of the day especially for the welcoming and helpful attitude of Garry. Wish the team of Gunung Merta Bungalows a very successful future as they are doing a wonderful job.

El mejor hotel de bali, muy centrico. Habitaciones limpias y muy grandes. El personal excepcional. El desayuno increíble. De los mejores desayunos de todo bali, te lo sirven en la habitación, Vistas espectáculares. A 10 minutos del centro andando.
