Great hostel / hotel located on the main ***** , close to the beach , staff are brilliant and very accommodating, would highly recommend this establishment,

Room seems to be old, doors were not closing properly. AC not working, even after requesting to change the room, hotel has not taken any action. Really bad experience

Well located, but not safe for old people, lot of scams and pick pocket around the area. Good quality price.

Area not safe & not clean, lot of pick pocket, full of thief !

I stayed in room 123 for just one night. There was water leaking through the ceiling in the bathroom, and the tv was fuzzy with lines across the screen. I mentioned the leak and tv as I checked out and they are known issues, yet they still rent the room. I went to the Bali Dwipa Hotel just around the corner where I’m writing this review. For the same price, you get much nicer rooms.

Hotel tidak terawat saya diberi kamar paling belakang yang mungkin tidak pernah ada penghuni nya sehingga begitu dibuka kamar bau debu menyengat dan tidak ada handuk saya langsung pergi pdhl saya sudah bayar utk dua hari tapi tidak saya gunakan

Be very very careful before booking this hotel. I already live in Bali & was wanting a change of hotel so I was looking online & saw the Restu Hotel on Legian Street, I looked at there website & there room prices direct with the hotel which was $25.00 a night including breakfast. So I decided to go to & have a look at the hotel directly which in this case was a very good idea. I went to the reception & spoke to a young boy who could hardly speak English or understand what I was saying luckily I had my Indonesian girlfriend with me, I asked about the room prices which I told him I saw on there website direct & asked if I could view the Deluxe room which I saw on there website I also told him I would like a long term stay 6 months which he struggled to understand but my girlfriend related that to him he said no problem for 6 months. Then I asked to view the Deluxe room which he showed me nothing like what it looks like on there website but still ok, so we went back to reception & I asked him how much the price was per night to my surprise he said $35.00 a night when I questioned him about the price that on there direct website it was $25.00 a night he said no the price direct with the hotel is $35.00 a night so I asked him can I speak to the hotel manager he said the person wasn't available. So be very very careful when booking this hotel there website says 1 price & when you go to the hotel in my case it was $10.00 a night more. So I walked 350 up Legian Street to the Legian Paradiso Hotel which was much nicer the reception staff were amazingly friendly spoke very good English very helpful showed me a Super Deluxe Garden View Room which was much nicer than the Restu hotel & the price was $32.00 a night including a buffet breakfast. So booked in to the Legian Paradiso Hotel.
