The lodges are lovely situated amidst the ricefields. The staff is very friendly. The spa offers nice low-cost treatments. The tourguide Berlin showed us around in the local village during a walk in the ricefields with lots of exotic fruits and vegetables. The food had very limited vegan options.

Peace of mind on a fantastic location. Beautyfull villas and super kind staff. If you just wanna kick back and enjoy the sceneri, this is the place to go. Don’t mind the farmers fending of the birds early in the morning, it will all come together during the day. Small half-day trips are possible, but go here for the peace❤️ Food is not top-range but breakfast is good.

Everything was good, but good to have a queen bed instead of 2 double bed and good to have avacado toast and pancake as there were no other option for vegetarians.

Awesome Property - Bali Expectations! Great property to spend your vacation. The staff is friendly, food is great, pool is beautiful and inviting, lastly, the view, spectacular! The bungalows are beautifully laid out; we had a 2br bungalow. Don’t mind the drive to the mountains, it’s worth it!

Sanak is a hidden paradise. Beautiful setting around the rice fields and plantations (Clove, coffee, vanilla) very rural ans peaceful. The rooms are fabulous with lovely outside seating areas. Pool freshwater with views over the rice fields to the mountains. My husband had a fantastic massage with well trained staff in the atmospheric team house (Boll early). We had an informative tour with Berlin from the local village and saw so many fruits and spices growing and Clive oil production, fascinating. Food was good, if limited on the Balinese options but had a French style duck disk that was very well made. Note that there is no Act and only room fabs, was fine temp when we stayed (oct) and dont know if it gets any hotter as could then be a tad uncomfortable. Only wish we could have stayed longer our favourite hotel during our tour of Bali. Thank you to all the staff at sanak.

One of our two favorite hotels on our Indonesia Trip. Its a boutique nature retreat with cozy and tastefully decorated bungalows midst the rice paddies with amazing mountain views from all sides. The area is very rural dont expect any restaurants nearby but the food here is tasty, fresh and creative, you dont feel you are missing anything. We had a private picnic by a nearby waterfall and a Water Blessing at a nearby natural spring by a real Balinese priest, both experienes we will never forget The spa is another highlight but need to bookef early for the same day We both had four hands massage, just pure bliss. The staff is so natural friendly and helpful all from the villages around. Since the hotel only has 11 bungalows they are quickly full.but we booked early .Highly recommended for someone who wants to stay away from crowded areas like the south or Ubud and loves nature.

Sanak is a dream become reality. No pretending here, you are truly lost in the Bali hinterlands in all their glory. Great service and friendly staff, with plenty of menu and drink options in the well-run small restaurant. Proximity to the wilderness activities of the mountains of Munduk is another key draw. Don't miss it!
