The hotel overall is super nice. Very well equipped tree houses, with a charm setting and super cool vibe. The surrounding forest environment just makes it feel that more special. The hotel also offers free shuttle around uluwatu, but best to book in advance since it’s fairly busy. The pool area is fantastic. The pool itself is the perfect size and has a breathtaking view over the uluwatu area. The sun beds are few, so sometimes you may have to suit yourself with the sofas or chairs. The sunshades are made of crochet, which may look nice but are not very user friendly as they don’t block the sun entirely. We ended up using some towels on top to block the sun as a temp solution. It worked but something the hotel should improve upon. We also found some of the breakfast options to be lacking variety (mainly on basic stuff, such as a simple plate of sliced fruit). We addressed the issue with the management, and I must confess they were outstanding! They heard our thoughts with care, and were prompt to help us find the best breakfast options. They even treated us later to an amazing dinner on their restaurant. Super recommend (the beef rendang is to die for). As mentioned, the service was superb! The management team was open and welcoming to receiving feedback - which is one of the most important qualities for any hospitality business nowadays. They worked tirelessly to ensure our experience was the best, even if there were so minor hiccups along the way. In the end, they simply nailed it! Many thanks to all staff for the love and support shown during our stay.

Hotel de cabañas bonito, rodeado de naturaleza, todo cuidado al detalle. Cabaña con todas las necesidades muy cuidada. El personal amable y atento siempre atento a todas nuestras necesidades. A 5min en moto del centro de uluwatu pero lejos del ruido. Piscina genial desde donde se ve el atardecer precioso. Si alguna vez volvemos a Bali sin duda repetiremos 😊

Une pause merveilleuse pour commencer notre voyage à Bali. Logement, grand, spacieux, propre, très bien équipé. Tellement agréable (à part les coqs qui faisaient des concerts 😂). Piscine merveilleuse. Un personnel aux petits soins. Les petits déjeuners !!!! Wahou aussi. Je recommande les yeux fermés

IT WAS SIMPLY AMAZING! Everything was perfect, awesome location, beautiful room in our Treehouse Studio and amazing and so friendly Staff. The breakfast was so jummy, and we had the jummiest meals for breakfast every day. Also the Avo Toast, the Pancakes and the fresh fruits were amazing and so jummy! The staff was so friendly, they did everything for us. We have spent the Silence Day, Nyepi with them and the have done everything, so we felt very comfortable and happy. They have organized a cooking class with a local chef and it was amazing and so much fun! If you wanna rent a scooter, just ask at the reception and they will call someone to bring a scooter to the hotel and also pick it up again. Our stay in the Grün Resort Uluwatu was just so perfect and we would definitely come back again and also recommend it to our friends and other people! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!

Amazing stay over Nyepi weekend. Food was yummy, rooms cosy, friendly staff. View from the pool is stunning! Big playground for the kids too. Only suggestion would be to get more than one baby chair in the restaurant which made it tricky at feeding time.

Such an amazing experience! Staying at Grün Resort Uluwatu's treehouse was like seeing my childhood dream come to life. Those sunset views from the pool were nothing short of magical, the food was delicious, and the staff was welcoming and professional. The whole place has this relaxed, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. It's a spot I'd recommend to anyone looking for a unique, environmentally-conscious getaway.

What I liked: - Wonderfully secluded location and very quiet. Very peaceful environment with the sounds of nature around you. - we stayed in treehouse C which was spacious and beautifully designed - Pool is stunning both in terms of its design and outlook with views over all of Uluwatu and to the coastline beyond - Guest Services highly responsive on WhatsApp - staff granted me late check out so I could do a work video call from my room before departing - the included breakfast in Octagon restaurant was delicious and offers many options. Charging for a second juice seemed a bit cheap though - the food at La Cima restaurant is excellent - the staff, particularly the cleaning staff, are very kind and sweet What I didn’t like: - curtains in the room are not blockout and there are lights in the garden which remain on at night (cannot be controlled or turned off from within the room) so light shines through the window which can make it a little hard to sleep. On the second night we messaged the staff about this and they covered the lights in the garden for us which made it a lot better - some of the restaurant prices are very expensive such as the smoothies and fresh juices - service in La Cima restaurant was a bit hit and miss. Staff spend a lot of time chatting to each other and not paying attention to the customers. At lunch one day it took multiple goes to get the attention of the staff to order - we saw this happen to the table across from us also. We had to ask one staff member 3 times before he turned the overhead fans on in the restaurant (on a 33 degrees celsius day!) - we had dinner by the pool each night and the staff would close the bill after each order. This was quite annoying as we had to open and sign a new bill (often with wet hands while we were in the pool) each time we wanted to order more drinks or dessert. I would understand this if we weren’t staying at the hotel but we were hotel guests and the staff knew who we were and which treehouse we were staying in. If the staff were worried about us going back to our room and not signing the bill they could tell us at the start of dinner that they’ll keep the bill open but we need to walk down from the pool down into the restaurant to sign the bill before leaving - we would have been happy to do this - the staff placed lanterns beside us on our first night having dinner by the pool. On the second night they didn’t give us lanterns and we ate in the dark. Quite an inconsistent experience - I had a couple of cold showers at night after returning from the pool at 9pm - the hot water seems to turn off early - no TV in the room. I get it’s more of a natural retreat however my partner and I had been waiting for our holiday to watch some movies together but couldn’t do this at the Grun

Lontano dal caos di Uluwatu, questi è un oasi stupenda, immerso nella natura e con un pool vista mare che è uno spettacolo. E si può ammirare un tramonto da li senza la massa di gente che si trova sulle spiagge. Abbiamo passato dei giorni meravigliosi. Mi sono rilassato e caricato come non mai.

Our stay at Grün Resort in Uluwatu was amazing! The view from the infinity pool was simply magic with one of the best views of the sunsets in Bali. The staff is really helpful and very friendly and our two-floor Treehouse Villa was spacious, very clean and we would definitely recommend it to anyone and we look forward to coming back soon!

we booked family villa and that was a great experience to have the ambience the place is really nice you can see the ocean from your balcony n the staff thomas is really kind and helpful with everything for us i can say its worth every penny we will be come back for sure next time

We picked Grun Uluwatu for our trip this time round as we prefer to celebrate our 5th anniversary in a more quite and less crowded area in Bali. We love that the rooms are built in such a way that it blends with the nature well. The air is refreshing and we woke up every morning with such a positive vibe. We appreciate the morning sun more than we usually do when we were there. The room that we booked was beyond our expectation. We love the aesthetic and appreciate cleanliness of the room. The room was well prepared upon check in and we’re happy that we get treehouse villa 5 as it is very convenient to the swimming pool. The bed and pillows are so comfortable - we had such a good sleep every night. The toilet is spacious and the heater works well. The staffs are friendly, approachable and welcoming. They were smiley and never fails to greet whenever we cross path. It is easy to get in touch with them as we can just send our request through WhatsApp and they will attend to our request asap. The breakfast spread was delicious and the presentation was tip top. We are grateful that the staffs at The Octagon went extra mile to cater food for our child who’s a picky eater - he does enjoy the food and finish the whole meal. My son definitely enjoy his morning walk around the resort every morning before breakfast. He managed to see the butterflies, chicken and even a cow nearby. This is such a memorable experience for him as we weren’t able to experience so in our country. Would definitely recommend this hotel to those who enjoy the green and peace. Thank you to all the staffs once again for the assistance and pleasant stay.

Absolutely amazing place! Quiet location away from the crowds. A cool place to get away from the hustle and bustle of work. All the staff are very attentive, helpful and friendly! La Cima offers extraordinary sunset views. The food is also delicious, highly recommended. I will definitely come back.
