This home is available for daily, weekly, & monthly rental situated on Bald Head Island East Beach dune ridge. Offers guests sunrise ocean views, afternoon winds, and the nighttime sounds of both the ocean waves and the maritime forest preserve.
Families and friends will enjoy the large gourmet kitchen, open reverse-floor plan living, outdoor privacy, comfortable bedrooms, direct beach access (#41) on Portsmouth Way, 1500 sq. ft. of Brazilian IPE porches/decking/walkways, two screened-in porches, swing, hammock, bicycles, kayaks, boogie boards, beach toys, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, twin four passenger golf carts + one fully enclosed owners' cart, and lots of Privacy!About pets:No pets allowed.No more than two pets (dogs) allowed. no cats..About checkOut:Check out before 10:30 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:No persons under age 16 permitted to operate electric golf cart (s) without active state issued driver's license..Must report problems or damages to owner at immediate time of occurrence..About checkIn:Check in after 4:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking is not permitted.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 27.About events:No events allowed.

Ocean views!
We would definitely stay again. Waking up to the ocean view was incredible. The hammock, outdoor patio areas, and stocked kitchen made it a perfect house for catching up with family, playing games, and cooking great meals. The only disappointment were the bikes, not in riding shape so next time we will probably plan to rent bikes.

Great spot
Very well appointed comfortable home with an incredible morning view. Definitely exceeded our expectations. We would love to return sometime soon.

Thousand year storm !
First I want to say the house was beautiful, taste fully decorated, beautiful views of the ocean very comfortable. However, the storm came.it was so serious every business closed, it flooded most of the streets. Our golf carts broke down the first day after a couple of days the beautiful home turned into a prison we could not go anywhere. We called the owner who tried to help as best she could to get the golf carts exchanged but everything was as closed.
When the storm finally ended, beautiful beaches and finally enjoyed the last few days
It goes to prove that no matter how much you Plan and save for that wonderful week God has other plans.

Perfect Island Getaway
Carrie was a gracious hostess, assisting promptly with all of our questions before our arrival and during our stay. We came from Wrightsville Beach on our boat and rented a boat slip, and Carrie made sure her golf cart was at the marina for us to use to get to her beautiful home. (Note that the island tram will not give you a ride unless you come on the ferry) The home has a gorgeous ocean view from the porch, is very light and airy with nice furnishings, a wonderful outdoor shower, plenty of beach towels and chairs and 3 golf carts to use to explore the island. This home was well worth the expense. We even unexpectedly got to witness a sea turtle laying eggs during an evening walk on the beach. We hope to return sometime soon!

Gorgeous Sunrises
This home is a true gem. My husband and I enjoyed such beautiful morning coffees from the front porch every day. This house has it all - beautiful views, great TVs/technology, well-stocked kitchen/bedrooms and well thought out for what a guest would need. We adored our time at Bald Head Island and were grateful for the memories of such a lovely home.

Excellent stay
Amazing week with the family. The house is in a perfect location on BHI and well equipped for a family vacation. Carrie was an amazing host - very helpful and responsive. Hope to come back again next year.

Beautiful House, Great Location, Very responsive host
We had a great stay. It’s a perfect location with great proximity to beach, Shoals Club and Mid-Island restaurants/grocery. Host was terrific and very responsive. Beautiful living area/kitchen with great views.
