Amazing location on a secluded beach, beautifully appointed & superb service. This small boutique resort delivered outstanding experiences for our friends and us & we would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone. We never left the resort for the 4 days we were there & left having spent restful & beautiful moments both in the property and on the beach.

Lovely villa on the beach with sun chairs under the trees and a great pool. Good breakfast and other food (especially the grilled Barramundi), but only filter coffee - no latte or cappuccino available. Good service too, except some staff did not have good English so it was difficult to communicate.

We stayed at the family villa with the private pool, and we had an amazing time. The villa was gorgeous and clean, and we loved how it was secluded from the rest of the hotel. The food was great and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The private pool was heated, which we loved. Great value for money. 5/5 would recommend.

My wife and I along with friends stayed in Sundara for 5 nights. The experience was amazing. Rooms are large with ocean view. The sound of waves breaking on the shore plays like background music throughout the property. Food was equivalent to fine dining. A special word of gratitude to Chamara, Amila, Lochana, Shaan & Chinta for making the stay a memorable one. Thank you team Sundara. It is indeed a hidden gem in Sri Lanka.

Everything was exceptional. The attention to detail in this hotel was astonishing. We loved everything, and the staff were friendly and very helpful, each and every one of them. The meals were delicious. It was truly a wonderful stay. ✨😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Went with my fiance for a two night stay and was extremely happy with the hospitality. The food was the best we had in a really long time. The location is perfect for couples who want a nice, calm and relaxing holiday. Special shout out to Amila who ensured our stay was perfect. Definitely recommend Sundara by Mosvold for couples and families for relaxing vacations.

Wow what a beautiful boutique hotel!!!! Our hotel was switched to Sundara at last minute, we didn’t know what to expect but were bowled over by its beauty and the friendliness of all the staff. Hasan looked after us amazingly well and the 2 bedroom villa with pool was the perfect start to our holiday. Food was sumptuous, beautifully manicured grounds and all in all an absolute gem of a property!

Wow, this colonial style hotel was like a little bit of paradise. It’s small with only 8 rooms and at times you feel like you have the place to yourself. A stone’s throw from the Indian ocean, you can listen to the waves as you enjoy the delicious dinner. The food is amazing and you get the impression that it is all cooked from scratch using local produce. The rooms are spotless and the staff couldn’t do enough for you. A really great boutique hotel.

We live this year at a villa near Sundara and simply did not have space for our five guests (two adults, three teenagers) who came to visit us here in late March, so we got a good deal at Sundara instead. It is a beautiful place (we have stayed there before, so we know first-hand). The manager Hasan and his whole team are superattentive. The rooms are fabulous, and the boutique-style setting, with only nine bedrooms in all, is gorgeous. The pool is nice, and the beach right next to the hotel gardens is lovely, with fine-grained sand. The food -- Sri Lankan and Continental -- must be among the best in all of Sri Lanka. Our friends were extremely well taken care of. The hotel also helps set up sightseeing tours and transportation to Galle and other nearby destinations. We wholeheartedly recommend the place!
