Hotel a Baku, Azerbaigian

I don’t normally take the time to review places but considering that they market themselves as a 5 star hotel I want to make sure other people considering this hotel know what to expect at least. For context We stayed in this hotel for a week as a family (2 kids) in a connecting family room. First off when we arrived and checked in, the guy at reception said they would check our documents and to please wait in their restaurant. We ordered some drinks and waited. Meanwhile suddenly they start blasting Indian music so loud in the restaurant (it was only us and another family there) that we had to go ask them if they could please turn it back down again. I don’t know for who or why they put the music on so loud. This also happened when we ate breakfast one morning. After maybe 20 minutes we went to ask reception how check in was going and were only told that “they were checking”. We decided to go and get some late lunch since we didn’t know how long we needed to wait for them to “check” whatever they were checking. If the room wasn’t ready, it wouldn’t have been a problem if they simply said so and gave us a time frame for when it would be ready. But this was a taste of the service to come unfortunately. We had a connecting family room that had one bathroom to share. The master bedroom had only a window which was a small and by the ceiling facing out into the hallway (so no external window) which meant it was like sleeping with lights on all night as the hallway light were always on. In this case perhaps a curtain for that window would be good or installing sensor lights in the hallway so the light isn’t on unless someone is there. The rooms were SO warm and when we went to check about the air conditioning they told us it wasn’t working or they didn’t have it. (Not sure which was the correct answer) They couldn’t give us a straight answer. They told us the heating had been on the night before but that they had now switched it off and allowed for “air” instead. So whatever control you have in your room is basically useless. When we asked if they could allow for the air conditioning to be turned on they just told us they would sort it out but nothing got done. We had to sleep with the only external window open during the night so at least our kids could be more comfortable. Other important things to note - we got 2 towels for 4 people. We asked them to bring 2 more which wasn’t done. Only when we saw a cleaner outside in the hallway one evening (3 nights into our stay) did we get 2 more. - there was no cleaning the whole week. We asked for more water, asked if someone would come to at least remove the garbage and they told us they would send someone but never did. - as shown in the photos, one of the single beds was broken underneath. - several sheets/duvet covers were broken, one example shown in the photos. - there was cigarette burns on the double bed headboard despite it being a non-smoking room. Miglior vista sulla spiaggia Hotel ... Più lontano dal centro della città ma davvero molto bello da soggiornare ... Buona gente ... Camere sono pulite con balcone alla vista sulla spiaggia ... Pulizia posto ... Buona colazione .... Buona attrezzatura ... Amore posto ... 😃🙏🏻 Spero di visitare presto .. - Mantenetelo in alto.

È un hotel più conveniente e confortevole in questa zona. mi sento come una casa. Ottima capacità linguistica del personale di accoglienza.

Situazione e l'hotel è bello, il personale sta facendo il meglio e l'acqua era deliziosa in generale ero felice con il mio soggiorno solo a fianco trovai i letti singoli sono molto stretto al mio piacere e il pulsante di luce principale del letto è davvero luminoso che mi ha svegliato qualche volta.

Hotel confortevole, buona posizione. Le camere sono pulite, le camere sono spaziose. personale gentile. Un delizioso colazione ma non molto diversa. Le camere mancano di luce come massimali molto alti e lampade su una piazza simile)

We arrived on the 22 and was welcomed by ismail and checked in by shams from reception both were super nice and instantly gave us one of the best first impression any one can ask for. Our first day we had shawarma from black city and it was the best shawarma we ever had and made us go back again for the taste of it several times. Definitely recommend every one to try. We had the best service by our special favorite orkhan who was super friendly and the team made sure we get the best service. We had to just look once and literally the staff comes running to help. 10/10 for the attentiveness and details of the black city staff. We tried green house but the food is same as white city. Would have been amazing if they had a different cuisine than white city. We had the best shisha made by Hussain who was very kind but didn’t get the same smile and sweetness from the other staff in green house. Service was not bad but as we had an amazing experience from black city where all the staff are super attentive was a little down fall. We had dinner in white city and couldn’t order anything else after we tried the honey baby chicken which was absolutely delicious. We also had lunch twice in white city but the service was super slow due to lack of staff but David while we noticed it was definitely a time of rush he had done amazing while doing the service with a very energetic smile and a very positive vibe. The hotel has a beautiful steam room, sauna and a pool. I met gulshan from spa while I went for sauna who always was super attentive kind with a gorgeous smile. It is beautiful to go for a walk out side the hotel as it’s near a park with ocean views. We had met amazing locals as well as everyone we met were super kind. The hotel has beautiful garden and greenery around the property. We usually take pictures in every country we go but we fell in love with the gardens and the colours around we took pictures just out side the hotel. Lots of mini butterflies and just super pretty and beautiful colorfulness around the hotel. The rooms are spacious and if you love mirrors this would be a perfect place as the hallway to room are filled with huge mirrors. The only problem we faced was that the hotel didn’t have a eu plug and we had to take a walk to get them on the first day but other than that didn’t have any issues. Lastly was checked out by Orkhan from reception who was funny and sweet asked us about our stay and had a good last impression as well. All together a great team at marriot and definitely would recommend to stay as the hotel is beautiful with amazing facilities and to top of has amazing staff with delicious food. Personally this was the best vacation 💕

Buona per la famiglia, specialmente se hai già prenotato una guida di viaggio e lui o lei può scegliere e mostrarti , non hai bisogno di un hotel nel centro della città in quel caso solo prenota qui in mare perle hotel tutto il set, abbiamo avuto una buona esperienza, Spero di visitare l'Azerbaigian e l'hotel perla marina di nuovo in futuro.

Cinque stelle per tre stelle! Uno dei migliori valori mai per me. Dieci su dieci! Il servizio è quello di un Ritz Carlton. Così incredibile. Da check-in a check-out! La stanza era incredibile! Il letto, uno dei migliori mai! Bagno con grande doccia più bagno Jacuzzi. La stanza era così bello che non volevamo lasciarla! Il buffet di colazione giornaliero era fantastico! In termini di valore, qualità, servizio, atmosfera, 5 stelle! Oh annuncio avevamo un cappuccino mentre aspettava la nostra stanza e era uno dei migliori che abbia mai avuto! Molto consigliato!

It was my very first trip with family and also i choose Baku for that. I was already staying at another hotel which was not good at all so Me and My Family decided to go for a good breakfast and then look for a better Hotel. Thats how we ended up at Wyndham Garden just to have Breakfast. Breakfast time was over but Shukur gave us an opportunity to order by Menu. Here comes Nijat who open the entire Buffet for 4 of us and made our morning great. Husyn came up with an amazing coffee. While sipping our coffee me and my wife decided to book this Hotel for the rest of our stay. Mr Steve came personally to welcome us and i shared this story with him. What a great Guy Mr Steve is the GM. Rooms are clean. Pool is to die for. Gym is clean and up to date. The only this we miss was Spa. Above all the Staff. Ibrahim, Shukur, Nijat, Huseyn, Lamam and last but not the least Mr Steve. Thank you all for making our trip the best.
