- bed/pillow very comfy!!
- spacious room
- clean

- have mini fridge
- eatery place within walking distance just behind hotel, hotel also have in house cafe
cons
- showerhead attached together with bath tub, water can get messy and a bit slippery, wished they have seperate space for shower
- wifi slow
- room a bit dark as they use yellow lighting
overall ok, access card a bit troublesome if you dont know how to use

"Mercure hotel very new and good services while checking in.Plus point that giving your free 2 cups of ice cream.
Room very nice and new with this rate of price.Location very easy to find foods.

"Literally in from of mall and wireless walk. good location, minus point on no specific hotel parking but when i was there, parking was not an issue. rooms are nice with good amenities. Beware, the in house bfast is not buffet but rather just a meal and a drink which just an okay meal."

"Avete un centro commerciale di Miri, un conteggio di fronte molto gentile e un personale di accesso principale.
Purtroppo, quando siamo arrivati tardi, ci sono manutenzioni di piombo sul nostro pavimento e non c'è fornitura d'acqua; ci siamo addormentati senza doccia calda dopo un lungo viaggio di giorno.
Sarebbe bello essere informato prima o al check-in o fornire spazio in un altro piano."

"Per il prezzo è un buon hotel. Anche se c'è un po' di odore muschioso perché la stanza e la passeggiata sono principalmente carpette. Ma ha una grande posizione. Non chiederebbe molto per il prezzo che ho pagato"

"Non so quante volte ho prenotato questo hotel, ma come sempre il servizio è così buono, le strutture quasi completano è solo che la tosse da dentifricio di solito dato 2 ma questa volta la tosse da dentifricio ha solo 1 ma fortunatamente il personale da un altro tosse da dentifricio quando io chieda per esso 😊"

"The unit where we stayed is clean, have a breathtaking full view of the sea. Miss Nisa is very helpful to inform me the unit that we supposed to stay according to my booking have problem with their air-conditioning. So she change it to another unit. We really enjoy staying at Bay Resort. We can brisk walk and sight seeing. There's a lot of Chinese restaurants nearby too. Its a great experience to us as this is our first time coming and staying in Miri. This place is recommended to travellers with families who loved beaches and love to listen to the sound of the waves."

"The hotel was charming and the rooms were superb. Despite being right across the street facing Ming’s, I could barely hear any noise from either Ming's nor the street.
Location is convenient, and grab orders are just one phone call away; it only took me an average of 3 minutes to wait to get one."

UUtente ospiteMy family enjoyed our stay in Mulu Marriott. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean though the hotel looks a bit old. Mulu Marriot is a great hotel to stay for all who wants a bit more luxury as well as adventure, as it is easily accessible by Hotel shuttle service to Mulu National Park.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Perhaps Mulu Marriott can improve on both the buffet breakfast, dinner or the ala-carte offerings on the menu.
During the night, we had drinks in the bar/ lounge area. Service is good, but would recommend Marriott to have more games eg. UNO, board games or probably a pool table will be a nice addition.
Thanks to Mulu Marriot shuttle service to airport and Mulu National Park, they are prompt and very friendly.
Overall we enjoyed both our experience in Mulu Marriott and Mulu National Park.

DDe XingL'hotel è situato in una posizione conveniente, nel centro della città di Miri. Abbiamo la sala di vista stradale che viene con alcuni problemi. Può diventare rumoroso la notte, poiché la strada è molto occupata. Nella prima notte non potevo dormire bene a causa del rumore, ma nelle notti successive ho usato le pendenti che risolvo tutto il problema.
L'hotel offre parcheggio gratuito agli ospiti, ci sono solo circa 10 auto in aperto davanti all'hotel se non ci sono slot disponibili il personale ci ha permesso di parcheggiare accanto all'edificio. Il bar è situato vicino al lobby dell'hotel e a molte distanze da passeggiata. Non è consigliabile parcheggiare fuori dalla zona dell'hotel perché si può essere multati.
Il Wifi era cattivo al livello di cui stavo per soggiornare, i miei dati mobili hanno una migliore connessione haha. La stanza era davvero spaziosa e la TV ha hdmi plug, quindi abbiamo appena giocato i nostri media in esso. In generale, è stata una buona esperienza data il prezzo per notte.

NN-ALoved everything about our stay!
It might be quite a distance from the city if you don’t drive a car, but if you do, it’s only less than a 10-min drive.
Service was definitely top-notch; from the main entrance to the front desk, including the staff at the Zest restaurant.
Breakfast spread was very good and tasty especially the fresh fruit juices!
Definitely recommended and will stay here again 😊

YYna Ali AkbarI had an overall pleasant experience during my stay at this hotel. The property was very clean, and the bed provided excellent comfort, ensuring a good night’s rest. I also appreciated the sense of safety within the hotel, which contributed greatly to a worry-free stay.
The location is another strong point, as it is situated in the city and conveniently close to restaurants, shopping malls, and popular attractions. This made getting around both easy and enjoyable. Additionally, the staff were consistently friendly and professional, which created a welcoming atmosphere.
One area that could be improved is the check-in procedure. At present, the process requires the identity card of the person who made the booking. This can be inconvenient in cases where a reservation is made on behalf of family or friends as a surprise. Allowing check-in using the booking number or the guest’s name would provide a smoother and more flexible arrival experience.
Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel, with the hope that such enhancements to the check-in process can be considered in the future.

UUtente ospiteThe room was clean, there was a hot shower and check in check out was easy breezy. The hotel is a golf resort but I would come back here again if I needed a place to stay before catching a flight from Miri airport . It's approximately 10 minutes car ride to get to the airport from the hotel. You can get transfer from hotel to airport by Hotel transport at rate RM25. They also had a water dispenser out in the corridor and provided a jug in case you don't have our own water bottles. I especially love this as I feel it's more environmentally friendly.
The only thing was their room service closed at 9 pm so if you're checking in later than 9, you'll need to think of where to get your meals. I ordered through Grabfood and had no problem.

UUtente ospiteOverall service is good and quality up to par, although some suggestions for washroom improvement:
1) stubborn dirt hidden at the corner and cracks might have risk of domestic infestation especially with humid and wet environment - might require better disinfectant and cleaning reagents to deal with those, regular maintenance and surveillance may require to reduce lesser effort in dealing major issues (both construction and health) in the future
2) it'd be awesome if a manual water bidet hose is installed instead of the one's installed inside the toilet bowl, it may be difficult to control the pressure... and also considering the hygiene part some people may find it inconvenient... that'd cause pain for real, physically. 🤣

UUtente ospiteit was my more than 3x stays at Meritz and it was completely incredible , not just about the connecting door to the mall , also about the safety.
im highly recommended to stay here if you’re lazy to go anywhere cause the mall just beside u 😆. not even 10 step u took from the hotel to reach the mall.And for the services , everything was good till i order for room service , i dont know why the lady that answer my phone didn’t talk in appropriate tone.i hope they fix how they should be communicate to the guest.

Lli_yingThe location is convenient for getting around. Service is average, with no special treatment even for guests staying multiple days.
When I requested to change rooms, it was rejected as I was extending my stay day by day, and the front desk said I could only change if I switched room type. They told me I could ask the cleaner to come, but they mainly collect rubbish, and the floor after mopping was even worse than before.
Amenities are acceptable. Breakfast is basic and almost the same every day — only one main dish changes. After a few days, I honestly got tired of it. I also didn’t like that someone entered my room without permission, even though I clearly told the front desk not to allow it.
